ya hes got the title im gonna go take a better look some time this week so ill post some pics as far as the motor are they the same? im mean internals?

ok guys i stumbled on to a 88 banshee that has a bent rod been sitting for about a year and a half the motor has been open to the weather the last year.the guy wants to get rid of it he started out at 500 bucks now hes tellin me he'll take 300 i basically want to know the major differences in the older ones and the newer bikes . it looks decent but weather battered has toomey t3's on it and decent lookin tires what doo you guys think? thanks for all info in advance.

ok since were on this subjuct i just ordered a timing plate for my 2 banshees and wanted to know if i would have to run a race fuel mix? im on the stock heads still compression around 120 on both bikes elevation at home is about 5100 ft. and i go ride at glamis/ gordons alot the only other mods i have are t6's on both bikes and k&n pods on both. thanks for your advice.

ya try a 280 main thats what i run im at 5100 ft in arizona temp is a lil warmer here and i run k&n pods

if you dune then definately the toomeys they are a great pipe. :thumbsup:

ok guys im thinkin about ordering a adjustable timing plate my bike is all stock right now what do i need to know about the timing plates do i need any special tools to install? if i run more timing do i need to any thing else to compensate like higher octane? any info will be much appreciated.

ok guys me and the wife went riding yesterday and she kept tellin me that her bike was actin weird so i jump on and burn through the gears feels great so i grab the clutch to downshift into 5th i noticed that the shifter stays down so i let out the clutch and it pops back up into normal posistion so i try hitting 4th same thing shifter stays down it does this through all gears when downshifting everything feels normal btw her bike is an '06 just pipes and jetted stock gearing and everything else bike only has about 20 hours on it. thanks in advance. i tried goin upwards of a 330 main and it was way to rich found for me a 320 main needle on 4th clip 1 1.5 turns out is where the money is. :thumbsup:

my buddy has a preadator 500 i was just wondering what a good paddle for this bike was i know the haulers rip but are they just as good on a 4poke? or maybe like a sand star? thanks Tom.

i run my toomey's with a 320 main at sea level but i have the k&n pods too.

lol damn it i just threw away my stock exhaust last week. i guess i should have posted on here to see if any one needed it huh? oh well.

how do those trinity pipes respond to porting i was thinkin about gettin some t5's but damn thats a good price on those trinitys.

i agree as long as helicoil is installed properly should be no problems i personally have used it more than a couple times.

are you planning on keeping your motor stock as far as porting? if so go with the tr6's i have a buddy with t5's on a stock motor and just jetted and k&n pods and and same compression as me and i can out run him every time we race. we even switched bikes.mine was still faster i think the tr6's are awesome if you plan on keeping the motor relatively stock. if not go with the t'5 respond much better to porting/ mods.
