Here is my opinion about a duneable... Just ride it like a normal tranny all the time, until you drag race... That is the advantage on an overide is racing... If you are too lazy to clutch to shift all the time you are probably on the wrong kind of bike anyway. If you ride it normal till you race, they will last fine.

My bros twister had a WCR 1-5 neutral down duneable in it and we slammed the shit outta that thing last year with no problems...

That is way to broad of a question. Rider skill, weight and other things will come into play. It took a ported banshee to beat my 700 last year, and it just had a hotcam stage II cam, PCII, an intake and barkers. With those mods it ran dead even with RIPPENS FAST play ported 4 mil, (Jameys bike is not set up to race though, more of a hillshooter). Now with the BIG megacycle cam, new piston, TB bore, port work and bigger valves on my 700 it is gonna take a stout shee to beat it... Like these guys are saying, the 700s are no joke.

I just got my 700 all the way back together yesterday, and holy shit it is going to run hard! I didnt get on it very hard at all because its lean as hell and I am breaking in the new cam, but just the little bit i would punch it I can tell its going to run like a bitch! Cant wait to get it tuned and in the sand!!

Id get a timing plate, vf3 reeds, a coolhead and some pods if it was me... If you want brake pads get tusk ones from RMATV, they are like 12 bucks.

Depends on the bike... If you are capeable of launching in 2nd its better, because its 1 less shift. If you dont have enough power to do so though, 1st is better so you dont screw stuff up. Most drag bikes dont even have 1st gear, a lot of overides are 2-5 overides so 1st isnt even an option.

Depends on what you want to do and how much bike you have... I ran 15-42 on my 421 cub, 17-40 on my 10mil, and i run stock gearing on my stock stroke cub.

700s are great machines. No carbs to prick with, and with very little work they are quick. I have mine pretty modded now, but it was a fun bike with just a power commander, cam and pipes last year. I cant wait to see how it runs with the piston, porting, and new cam this year!

I have the Hotcam stage II cam out of my raptor 700 im looking to get rid of. I went with a big megacycle cam this year so I have no need for the hotcam. Has around 10 hours on it. $110 shipped.

Buy a pile of shit if you are going to get one. You can fix anything on it, it will be built how you want and you will have less $$ in it then a new one.
