  1. They were 1 in the past, they are now each on their own.. Come out of the same factories in Taiwan..
  2. On a banshee cylinder it can enter through the rubber plug on the base of the cylinder and through the base gasket. On a Rz jug there is no plugs, so only through the head..
  3. Hole in piston means detonation.. So to much timing advance, BUT if there is no airleak and you can't find any other issues, your cdi is starting to fail..
  4. Rz350 has a final exh duration of 194-197 depending what number stamped on the cylinder, that is almost a "drag port" a banshee has a exh duration of 180 degrees. If you know anything about porting and the effect certain durations have, you would know that stock vs stock a Rz has much more topend power then a banshee. Yamaha claimed the banshee 37hp and the Rz350 48H 54hp, 31k 58hp and 1UA 61hp.. We have dynod stock Rzs with pipes over here at 63hp.. I do agree about the top speed and all.. Not trying to be wise, but we specialize in RZs.. Thats price is very good for that topend!! I can assure you that even a stock stroke Rz motor with a clean up port and at least 33mm carbs rips hard!!! These "little" RZs are beast with a nice wide powerband. Buy it man!
  5. I have just finished my 4mm, after a few rides had a small tranny issue, took the clutch cover of and the impellar shaft pulled straight out.. Snapped the shaft in two.. It has happen 2 years ago with a friend also.. Has this happen to anyone else?
  6. Ask trinity what pistons did they gave you the 1st time, did you check that the pistons came flat to the deck?? I think you have the wrong pistons in there, that explains your compression problem, and just replace the ricky stator and check for a airleak..
  7. I also bet its the ricky stator... The compression issue, do you have the right pistons in there, you said Blaster pistons?? Is this a stock stroke 68mm 110mm rod cub?? Is the blaster pistons the right ones?? I thought the blaster piston' dome differ from the 795 piston's dome??
  8. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...p;hl=conversion
  9. I bought her new in 2006 and she done qute a few cross country races... 4mm Longrod (trial ported) 33m PWKs Pro Circuits Upgraded front end Custom aluminum airbox YFZ450 calipers and more..
  10. I'm also waiting for the feedback...
  11. I have the same thing. Ok on 33mm pwks they came with C GL needles. I have a trial ported 4mm and the needle are on the 5th clip, richest, still a lean issue just above 1/2 throttle, so I am going to get CEL which are a "richer" needle.. There is a chart on the sudco website which indicates which needle are richer or leaner..
  12. Yes I have had stators that tested correct but were the problem, 2 actually. Sorry, maybe I have asked, is this a RZ stator. I converted to banshee stators because I went through 3 stators in 14months, these RZ stators are old. It might be the CDI, it has happen!! How did you fit the pipes?? Stil the PCs?
  13. Are you sure the flyweel key hasn't snap and moved, maybe the flywheel nut wasn't tighten enough.
  14. Wiseco and Hotrods cranks wear distributed by one company, made in the same factory. These days each do their own thing, just minor changes on the numbers and colour of the spacer etc... It is the exact same thing out of the exact same factory in Taiwan.. There are chinese brand cranks starting to come on the market, "no names" you can see how bad the finish is on the cranks, I would not run them as the conrods are WEAK, a friend of mine tried it, rod failed etc, disaster.... BUT using the webbing is fine and rebuild them with good rods... (Thought I shared this)
  15. He is a nice guy to deal with... There is not better customer service then his...
  16. Are you on the "stock" curve with the Zeeltronic at the moment??
  17. how many turns on the air screws?? Like said I ended up with a 48 pilot... With the 55 mine barely started after giving her 1/4 throttle when kicking her over... After going to a 50 pilot she was better then she settles on a 45-48 depending on the weather... No water leaks into the combustion chamber, half a drop will not make her fire...
  18. 33 Pwk, the needles that the carbs come with will work good. Start with 160 mains, 55 pilots. I think you will settle on 158 main 52 pilot.
  19. I had a set of locally made pipes which I refitted, now I am going to make my own which will be more of a top end pipe... PT will be good for MX, get yourself a topend set also if you can, then you can swap if you know you're going to do top end riding....
  20. Yes, if you wanne drag, go even higher then 194, they will do the trick..
  21. 90 degree pieces is much more difficult to work and you have much less control over them, they do shatter much easier then a straight one... I just use the cornwell one, works like a bomb...
  22. Well then you have the right motor man!!! OK nice, I'll be in the process of building my own pipes... I am a engine builder in SA, mostly Banshees and RZs. Zeeltronic will work like a bomb for adjusting the YPVS for dunning and trials!!! Enjoy!!!! Its always nice to talk about RZs...
