O.K. guys, after a long winter of doing my first rebuild and replacing pretty much everything on the bike I bought, shee's finally ripping! Thanks to all who helped me with advice and parts to get this done. I have a few more questions. When I first took it out, it started and ran great. I broke it in with a 16.1 tank of gas, etc. Next time I went out(with a fresh 24.1 tank), toward the end, in about second or third gear, it started to wind out. I killed the bike and let it sit. I started it again and it did it once more. After that I rode back and put the bike away. The next day I washed it and went through it. I made sure the throttle cable, thumb lever, etc. was routed correctly. Then it was hard to get it started. I figured I must have wet something so I left it in the sun to warm up. It started and ran great once it warmed up. Toward the end, it did the winding out thing again. I killed it and after that it ran fine. Now today it's being a pain to start again. I put in 280 jets, up from 260. I haven't done a plug chop yet but just by looking at the plugs it's pretty rich. What should I be looking for with the winding out thing? Sounds like the carbs, correct?
