Got a nice beefy chrome fuel filter from a friend. Just wondering if it's o.k. to use with mixed fuel? I'm thinking it is but don't know if the oil would gum it up and restrict the flow of gas. Thanks for the opinions.

When I cleaned my carbs, the little pin that holds the slide in place was flush inside. I pushed it back out and put the carb back together and it runs fine. My question is, will that pin eventually pop back in or should it stay put? I couldn't find anything in the Clymers about it. Thanks in advance.

I have that shitty "rebuild" kit already. Haven't come across a kick starter that I could get apart yet!!! LOL!! :biggrin: Just got my cylinders back from Jeff at Passion and put it back together and started breaking this beast in and I guess I forgot to tighten the starter!!!!!! I've seen this covered before but the search turned up nothing. I put different reeds on the cages. The screws and lock washers have only been removed once since I replaced them. Should I add a dab of Lock Tite or tighten it down without it? I'd rather not use it if I don't have to. All opinions are appreciated. Thanks alot guys.
