  1. What the hell was this guy selling again??
  2. I agree, that's a pretty shitty thing to do. If your not interested in it, keep your opinion to yourself.
  3. How much for just the tires, if you sell the rims seperate?
  4. Anyone have an AFTERMARKET gas cap they're looking to sell, or sites that have GOOD deals on them? Thanks in advance.
  5. At least it's not a spelling test.
  6. Thanks fellas.
  7. The bearings in the shock were replaced. Where the linkage connects to the swingarm, it's the metal collar (the round insert), then the round metal seals. Is there supposed to be a rubber seal in there (similar to the seal in the shock) or just that metal seal?
  8. I can't seem to get them out. I only tried for a few minutes last night, with a small screwdriver. Needlenose pliers seemed to big. Any tips before I get back at it tonight? THANKS IN ADVANCE.
  9. Take a link out and remove the bottom chain roller until it streches enough to put it back on. That's how I had to do my new chain.
  10. I have a DG bumper, one small dent, $35 shipped. PM if interested.

I have a vintage big-wheel in GREAT shape, I'll let go for $75.00. FIRM!! (the tires are not even skidded all the way through yet)
  12. This thing RIPS!!!!! It's all set. The reason I say this is because I have a K&N, outerwears, airbox and lid. Everytime I come home, this thing is FILTHY. I never go out thinking I'm going to hit mud and water but it is inevitable around here. I'm the only other one around here with the two stroke to represent! Don't let some dirt and water kill your bike. Shoot me a PM when your ready to rip.
  13. How's the bike coming along? Just wanted to say, DON"T cut those brackets off yet. You might want to put that airbox on eventually. Your engine will eat some big time mud and dirt around here. Just my two cents.
  14. No, that's the estimated shipping cost for everything. If it is $100 for everything, I call first dibs!!
  15. How much shipped to Mass.? Price, including shipping?
  16. Found my air leak! My winding out was the throttle cable with not enough free play. Anyway, thanks again to all you guys that helped me get this done. THIS THING RIPS!!!!!
  17. I believe 19 or smaller require race gas.
  18. I didn't put lock tite on mine but I did put a thin layer of gasket sealer on it. It's never come loose.
  19. Also.... should I try a hotter spark plug, to help with starting?
  20. I just put them in, so would leaning out the mixture without re cleaning them help, if that's the problem? What mixture would you suggest, without the chance of being to LEAN ?
  21. I should only have to play with the main jet and idle screw now. I have the screw one and a half turns out. The needle is on the middle clip. I've posted before about the jetting so it should be very close. It sounds as if the I'm accelerating even as I pull the clutch in. As I said pretty much EVERYTHING is new. Gaskets, cables, thumb throttle assembley. I've checked the routng of the cable. The main jets wouldn't cause this, would they? Mods: FMF fattys, K&N with outerwears, inside snorkel removed but lid on, 13 tooth front sprocket, pro lite pistons (stock bore). Thats about it. It idols with the choke on but you have to tap the gas a little with the choke in.
  22. O.K. guys, after a long winter of doing my first rebuild and replacing pretty much everything on the bike I bought, shee's finally ripping! Thanks to all who helped me with advice and parts to get this done. I have a few more questions. When I first took it out, it started and ran great. I broke it in with a 16.1 tank of gas, etc. Next time I went out(with a fresh 24.1 tank), toward the end, in about second or third gear, it started to wind out. I killed the bike and let it sit. I started it again and it did it once more. After that I rode back and put the bike away. The next day I washed it and went through it. I made sure the throttle cable, thumb lever, etc. was routed correctly. Then it was hard to get it started. I figured I must have wet something so I left it in the sun to warm up. It started and ran great once it warmed up. Toward the end, it did the winding out thing again. I killed it and after that it ran fine. Now today it's being a pain to start again. I put in 280 jets, up from 260. I haven't done a plug chop yet but just by looking at the plugs it's pretty rich. What should I be looking for with the winding out thing? Sounds like the carbs, correct?
  23. Thanks.
  24. Sorry to post this in general discussion but I need a quick answer. I'm putting my top end together this morning and I'm checking my new rings with a micrometer and they appear to be the same size. They're Wiseco Pro Lights. The rings I took out are obviously different sizes, you can tell just by looking at them. Does this make sense? Are Wiseco rings both the same size? My Clymers says they'll be different sizes but maybe that's the stock rings? Thanks in advance.
