Your really kind of limited if you dont want to go inside the motor. One thing that will help is getting rid of the 2 in to 1 set up if you want to drag race and put dual carbs back on it. They take away from the top end and add mid and low end. Porting,head work and the right pipes are the top 3 things fro drag racing. Dan

If your only mod is the pipes im thinking around a 240 would put you where you want to be. Dan

I dont know where your coolant went....but it didnt pull it from the coolant bottle back to the system,because the banshee system dosent work like that. The coolant bottle is an over flow only,it does not recirculate the coolant back to the radiator or the system. 90% of banshees I see dont even have a coolant bottle,mine sure dosent. As far as answering the question that was asked. Fill it up as much as you can,run the motor for your heat cycles checking and adding coolant in between. Dan

I ran a 14/46 on my bike drag racing.... I played with the gearing a bit, and that was the gearing that gave me the best times. Dan

From the threads I have read on this subject there has to be a spacer put in somewhere. And if im not mistaken if you do some hunting there was a guy on here machining the spacers for the 450 arm swaps. Dan

I just got my cylinders back from Kevin as well. The return shipping to me was 30.00 from Cali to Michigan. Hes a great guy to do buisness with, actually answers the phone when you call and will answer any questions you have. Im having a little bit of an issue with getting my motor to seal up(most likely my not being patient is playing a major role in that),but im takin it to badassbanshee479's place tomorrow and hopfully well git-r-done. I cant wait to ride it. With 34 pj's and cpi inframes it should be a blast to ride! Dan

Also make sure the carbs are in sync. One other thing to do is swap the plug wires and see if it switches to the right side. that will pretty much tell you if its a carb problem or its electrical. Dan
