just finished putting my 10 mil together with a billet second gear........cant hardly waith to run it......also there should be a bunch of big bikes to race better bring the a game

one more thing to look at is.....does your lever have any play in it?or is your clutch arm align with the arrow of the cases?check those 2 things out

ok i have a 10 mil twister that i just recently build.......i run 39 makunis tm.....my jetting right now is i have 116 jets and dump tubes also run the big power jets .86 with the needle set at its fattest position.......i'am at sealevel.......the thing is that my old cub used to run 118 with the needle in the middle clip and also the big power jets.......i just dont want to hurt the motor so anyone with jetting experience on the twisters can you plizzzzzzzzz post your findings ...thanks.

as far as motor work i would say lynn at lcperformance..........by now a few of you guys from the site have seen some of his bikes run..........my 10 mil twister is a runner.....if i had to do it all over again i would with out a dought build another twister[thats my vote]......i broke 2nd gear on it last weekend so add to your list a billet second gear//////// :thumbsup:

is anyone going to dummont for memorial?i want to go to pismo but it might rain and i just check the dummont/baker forcast and it says clear skys in the 70's for saturday........looks tempting............

i got 21-11 paddle 71 rollout haulers sls............whats your elevation up in or?15/43 is what my cub was geared at for the hill with 10 paddle 71 rollout sls. on a stock chassy........... give a 15 a try see how it works out.............by the way i sold my 4mil cub to my buddy tuny and he put it on a drag chassy and is now running 11 paddles with a 15/42 gearing...is just hard for me to accept my 10 mil will be geared the same as my old 4mil cub.....shit more money on gears

its hard for me to explain the hole install thing..........my buddy tony just took apart his 12mil cheetha and his going to be installing his pvl......ill take step by step pictures and post them up for you......he should be putting his bike back toghether like tuesday of next week 5/18............just hang on a little longer.....or ill video tape it and shipped the tape to you........ also you really think my bike should be geared that low with a 15 in the front?i mean this bike wants to rip my arms out with a front 17...........whats your starting point on gearing on yours?now remember i'am at sea level i dont know if you are at sea level........ :shoothead:

i think i have more like a jetting issue......my bike was geared 17/43 and it pulled that gearing with no problem, the only thing was that once i shift into 3rd and 4th it would just kind of cruise it was'nt screaming.....i geared it to a 16/43 and still have that same problem........this bike stands striaght up half way down the track..........ill have to fool oround with my jetting and gearing a bit......fuck..................should i even consider putting a 15 in the front for this motor?...........and good luck with the byrd :: :shrug: :shoothead:

you need to test the blue and black wire with an omh meter i forget what number its sopuse to give you if its any good i think it between 117 and 126 but not sure......also for the gaping part i have use a bussiness card and as long as it fits snug inbetween the fly wheel and the moons it should work.....the only thing that goes bad on pvl from experience is those pvl moons........hope that helps.......i also have a question for you [i know i have a mini]do this motors[twister cyl] rev as hard or are they sopused to rev as hard as the chettha motors?thanks

when i went to dummont on holloween weekend last year matt from shrear had a 421 not a cub but something similar to what this cylinders are and they also look pretty stock and it was running with jhon safarians 421 cub..........the thing was a runner thats for sure

it all depends on where you ride i would say..........for instance i ride pismo alot,also in in pismo is mosture........alky+mosture=rust....in dummont or glamis i would say at the end of the weekend would be fine its a liitle dryer out there..........i however purge at the end of every day

take the side cover off and you'ill see if you got an after market plate.............by the way if your shee is geared better that also helps...dont be to surprise but a well tuned piped shee is a serious contender for any new 4stroke........but thats just my opinion

i agree with rubberneck........i honestly would do a street bike shee if i was going to dedicate some real time into tunning it.....you know right gears right tires and honestly you would have to beef up that r6 motor a bit more if you really want to be competive....by the way you can pick up a complete say 4mil cub motor for about 3 to 4 grand i'am talking pipes carbs the hole deal to just drop in and ride....maybe even cheaper who knows......... -

well first off what you are trying is nothing new i've seen people put a street bike motor in a 3 wheeler way back when....second dont expect to go the hill/flats and just start whooping on everyone or atleast everyone that has a banshee based motor.......but you go ahead with your project and you'ill soon find out how quick a banshee based motor is........i hope you like eating sand diesel mechanic........... :shoothead: :shoothead:
