  1. i have weight a +12 cromoly swing arm vs a ti swing arm and theres quite of bit of diference in weight..iam just simply saying that if i can get ti for the price of cromoly why not just do whatever i want to build with ti.....azcustoms iam truly jelous of the great work you do...........

  6. screw that guy at ps...hey also something to think about is putting new shift forks on the bike, even if they were new prior to your tranny breaking........are you just sending your tranny to jeff?or the hole motor?if you are just sending your tranny when ever you get it back, bring your bike over to steves house and we will help you put that shit toghether....right steve, or whats up steve should we take a drive out to san diego and give our friend thumper_boy a hand.......[i assumed he would have to change his name if he sold his banshee]and also to give him some moral support........i'am down to go to SD for the day..........
  7. 1.pull foot pegs of 14mm socket 2pull shifter out 12mm socket 4.pull screws out of the side cover[use an impact screw driver] 4.pull flywheel ou twith a fly wheel puller[you also need an impact gun]you can also use a 14 and a 17 mm wrench 5.unplug your stater from your cdi and light and and all that stuff and stuff 6.pull the 3 bolts 10mm/phillips holding your stator plate to the cases of the bike[and also the ones holding your stater to the stator plate]bolt the stater to new timing plate same way you took it of 7.unbolt your black ignition box[its connected to the stater plate]and put it on the new timing plate 8.put your new timing plate back on and leave it just a little loose,set the desire time and tighten 9,DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING ESPECIALLY MAKE SURE YOUR KEY TO THE FLYWHEEL IS IN PLACE[make sure that you use an impact to tighten your flywheel]it should not take more than 1 to 1 1/2 hours :: ::

  10. you dont have to take the flywheel off to adjust the timing..just take a 10mm wrench and loosen the 3 bolts holding the timing plate and simply set it at the desire timing........ most people that are on gas advance their timing to +4......hope that helps.... :geek: :geek: :geek:

  18. lynn is doing my motor as we type[speak]i know about that vid of lynns 20 mil twister vs that 10mil dm.i have seen his 20 mil run and its a running mother fucking bike........some or most of the people i hang out with at the dunes have an lc performance bike..not only do this bikes run they also stay toghether..... i hate to use this as an example,but none the less the shit i'am about to type is nothing but the truth, and some of our members here at the site are a witness to this shit. my 4 mil cub[421]vs jhon safarians[sandtoyz unlimted 421 cub]knt build outrunned him in pismo,and at the hill in dummont. keep in mind that i weight 240 pounds vs jhon maybe 170......so even if our bikes were running as strong i would not have been able to beat him...i'am not trying to start any crap, we all do this for fun and jhon is a good friend.lynn has always been a straight foward man and i think that he is one of the premier motor builders in our sport.imo firehead if i ever go to oregon ill look you up,and of course we can do a little friendly racing.....what size motor are you putting togherther?how many cc's? :: :: ::

  24. just talked to lc performance and he had nothing bad to say about WK and lc[lynn]tought that those twister cylinders were a good deal,and he also said not to pass on a good deal......on another note i dont worry to much about hi-jack threads thats what the foums are for passing information...again thanks for the input and i guess i'am in on building a mini twister...........
  25. 421 cub is what i had.......i dont think i want to resleeve the cylinders just yet i want to see how they run on that size bore.also i know eric at white knuckle can build a motor so imight just hae him take a look at this cylinders and port match me some cases, since techanaclly this are his cylinders.thanks.
