155 / 50 is what was installed when I got them so I'll try it out. I'll also ask Denny his suggestion when he lets me know my cylinders are being shipped. Also, anybody know what the float height is supposed to be. I think I read it's supposed to be 19mm but I've drank since then!

Bump and forgot to mention timing plate @ +4 and my elevation is 705 ft above sea level.

I have this setup and it filters great. I don't know about any more performance than a open air box but it came with my pipe kit so I installed it instead of buying a $90 filter adapter plate...

unless your building a drag bike I don't think NOS is worth messing with.

I'm on my 2nd shee, the first I had when I was in high school (12 years ago...) I had a twist on it but didn't care for it too much. 12yrs later.. I hated the thumb throttle on my Honda 450R so I coverted it to twist and love it. But the shee stays thumb because I don't mind it... I guess what I'm trying to say is "to each their own". Try it, if you don't like it then put it on ebay or for sale on here and get a few $$ back. It's all about preference.

did you replace the plug caps when you replaced the coil?

did you have the lock washer on there? I believe it is called a french lock, bend the tab against a flat on the nut once it is tightened...
