  1. I got it. 27.5 pilots totally cured my problem. John, This is what I ended up with... 27.5 pilots 1 turn out on the air screws 280 mains. toomey needles on the 4th position.
  2. So I just installed a T6 pipe kit and a Toomey 2 into 1 filter assemby and boyesen reeds. It runs great in the mid to upper rpms but low rpm it runs like crap. While idleing if you pump the gas it acts if its running out of gas, real sluggish and flat, but once I reach upper rpms it runs fine. When coming to a stop it revs up (like running out of gas) then finally idles down. I tried adjusting the air screws but it doesnt seem to help. One more question - when I re-assembled my carbs I noticed that the right carb doesn't have the brass tube sticking into the float bowl like the left carb does, both carbs have a brass tube in them... Please Help!
  3. Thank you very much!
  4. I just picked up a totally stock 2000 banshee in MINT condition. Anyway, I ordered $800.00 worth of stuff today including a TORS eliminator kit - Motion Pro for use w/ thumb throttle. I was looking to see if anybody did a write up w/ pictures on this but couldn't find anything, so if you know where one is could you please post a link? I know the kit should come w/ instructions but I like to research / learn what I'm doing before hand. Thanks!
  5. What needles do you recommend then?
  6. count me in
  7. You need to change her pics so it looks like she's some fat nasty chic. If I were you I would be having fun with this.
  8. I doubt that if it was ported that it would be painted black inside the ports. I would still measure the bore to make sure it isn't worn but like you said the bearings could be your major culprit.
  9. The "knock" could be from both the bad crank bearings and a worn cylinder bore. I would measure the bore to see if it needs to got to the next oversize since you have the motor apart.
  10. Yep. You broke a reed...
  11. Looks damn good for a '90
  12. I'm thinking that they sent you the wrong piston kit. Do the pistons look correct? Have you ever rebuilt a motor?
