  1. I hit him up, we'll see when he replies back. You have a machine shop anywhere near you? I'm wondering if I found one near me, i could take mine in and have them scan it or something, then send the info to a shop near you and have them make it?
  2. Hate to hear that sir. And thanks man. Definitely gonna keep this in mind. Is there a way to set up a shee with a hydraulic clutch? Would be awesome with this setup. I'm pretty sure I'm running all hd springs and the clutch is a bitch to pull.
  3. I hate to hear about your situation to. The guy i bought them from don't make them any more, but i'll definitely try to get a hold of him and see if he'll make another batch or possibly still has some left. Here's the only pic i have of one at the moment.
  4. As for how, I have custom left hand throttle assemblies.
  5. Lol yeah. I've been riding my other quads for several years now so it's not like i'm new to one handed riding, but my 450r and piped scrambler don't have quite the get up and go as the shee does. So it'll still definitely be interesting. Honestly i do see myself probably selling my setup and going back to just stock with pipes in the near future.
  6. Ok guys, I used to be very active on the forums here back when i was in high school 10+ years ago. My she has been sitting since 2011 in my shop. I took it to little sahara back in '11 on a fresh 4-mill and someone ended up running a screwdriver through the radiator while we were sleeping. So she's pretty much been sitting ever since over a radiator. Anyways, i'm about to go through the carbs and the usual stuff after years of storage. I have a few questions tho. I'm pretty sure i'm running 33 pwk carbs, They work with the stock cable? I can't remember. Also Where is everyone going to these days for their parts? I always used jeff at f.a.s.t. and i'm assuming he's still going strong? And last but not least, am I bat shit crazy for attempting to ride this with one hand since my right arm was amputated 5 years ago? 🤣 Mods: (from what I remember) 4 mill witch 60 over wisecos, dune port by fast, noss head with 20 or 21cc domes, 33 PWKs with pods, v-force 3s, T5s, timing advanced with adjustable plate, and other little bolt on's that I'm sure i've forgot about.
  7. Even if the rod and ball are good, ditch that pos ball and adjuster and get a pancake bearing adjuster. If anything happens and that rod and ball, the case has to be split to get it out. Not fun to do over a simple problem that's a $40-50 prevention. Happened to me.
  8. My trucks are in my sig, both are 7.3 powerstrokes. Here is a current picture of the 96 with the 46's on it(42's in sig)
  9. Ok thanks again guys. I think I'm going to start with just a left throttle and make both brakes work off the rear brake pedal and see how well it works out. As far as a prosthetic arm goes, I have no control of my arm now, so I don't have one. All of the muscles and nerves were destroyed in the wreck and my surgeon said I will never gain control of it again. He said that in his 17 years of operations, he had never seen a case of nerve and muscle damage as bad as mine. But if I could move my arm back and forth, I could get a prosthetic to push and pull on the bars. But that would be way too convenient, instead I'm stuck with 1/3 of an arm that is completely useless.
  10. Thanks for all the help guys. Yall are making it alot easier to get back on my bike. I was really worried about not being able to ride it anymore but all the suggestions yall have made has given me WAY more hope. And I emailed the guy with the left throttle but he has not replied back
  11. Never thought about tieing the front brakes to the back. That would free the bars up a bit. Was also thinking about a steering damper to help keep the wheels straight.
  12. Thanks for all the help guys. I figured they did't make one since I searched with no luck. Oh well, I'll figure something out. I really wish I did not have to modify my bikes and trucks just to be able to use them now . Plus I'm kinda scared that I won't be able to hold on to the shee like I need to anymore. It's not the fastest out there but still has some wicked acceleration. But I do miss riding it, so I'm going to try it anyway. It's my ultimate stress relief. And trust me, between the wreck and my girlfriend leaving me shortly after, I got some stress to be relieved.
  13. Hit the side of the spindle where the stud sticks through with a hammer. Don't hit the balljoint or arms. Should jar it loose.
  14. Hey guys, I have not been on in a while. I was wondering if there is any companies that make an auto clutch for my shee. I recently had my right arm amputated due to a motorcycle wreck when a woman turned in front of me and I t-boned her at 60mph. I now have to get a left hand throttle and brake, so I figured an auto clutch would make it a lot easier for me. But if nobody makes one, I'll just have it all on one side. Nothing will keep me from riding it. I got it almost 10 years ago when I was 13, it's become like a family member. Lol.
  15. Because they are all that holds up/stays together....
  16. Wish i could afford these pipes right now. they'd be perfect for my build
  17. 7.3 powerstroke has my vote. I love mine. Not fast or as easy to get power out of like a dodge. But dependable truck. Plus you gotta love that V8 diesel sound
  18. ok thanks i'll look into the snipers. I saw an ad on them and read a little. might do some more digging and check them out. still open to any ideas.
  19. it's going to be used fore just flat out running in wide open areas, so i'm guessing more mid to top end power. been looking at the 4 mil serval kit and kinda like it. they already ported cylinders?
  20. 79 views and only one suggestion. Thanks guys...
  21. Also, forgot to mention, I plan on new pipes as well. I was thinking some cpi's but still un-sure. I have completely forgot 90% of the pipes available. So if someone could chime in and remind me of the available mid to top end pipes. Any new pipes available since 08? Now that i have the 450 for trails, cruising, and mx, I'm going to turn the shee into a road shreading, sand slingin, arm stretching, ass hauler. Thanks for any pointers.
  22. I had about 15-20 hrs on it and it just locked up going down the road about 1/8th throttle in 6th. I never tore it apart due to not being ready to re-build it and did not want parts scattered everywhere and lost. But i think it's a rod bearing again. It threw a rod bearing before due to carb issues. And this time seemed just like last time. But this time the jetting was all good.
