  1. Hey guys, have not been on here in a long time. I was 16 in my last post back in 08. Anyway, My shee blew up about a year ago, and decided to buy a moded 450r rather than rebuild it for a while due to it being more mx friendly. Please forgive me... So needless to say, the 450 is ok, but every time i ride it, I keep missing my shee more and more. It feels like the 450 is sooooo slow. Since, i have been out of the shee business for a while, i forgot quite a bit. What would be the best reasonable top and bottom end rebuild setup. Go back with the 4 mill, stock, stock w/long rod, or bigger stroker? I want it to be more reliable than it was, but i don't know how good i did on the rebuild of the last motor. So, could someone kinda refresh my memory on some strong but still reliable setups? Thanks -Josh

  5. Ok. Thanks. My friend gave me a 2-1 kit that needs a needle, slide, cable and top. Just making sure it will be enough before I buy the stuff. I'm about to start MX and heard the 2-1 is better for it. you think i should go with the single or keep the dual 28's? Thanks.
  6. My first question is if anybody knows if a set of dmc 916 mid-pipes and muffler will work with T5 headers? I also need to know if a trinnity 2-1 carb will feed my stroker with the listed mods in my sig. Thanks. -Josh
  7. Sell em and buy a set of ported stockers for a 4 mill. I realy doubt those cylinders will be anywhere near cheap to have cut down.
  8. I need a set of stock pegs with no bends at all. I'm having to weld them to the frame so these will be the last set on this frame.
  9. If you could get some banshee arms or somthing with the mounting hole closer to the middle of the arm, It will lift it as well as make it ride smoother.

  12. ok thanks. I already have boyesen dual stage reeds on stock cages. I heard the V3's make a big difference. But Idk about a $200 worth difference. thanks again.

  16. You can get everything at vitosperformance.com or farmandsandtoys.com All you will NEED are the crank and wiseco 795 pistons if it's a standard stroke long-rod crank. But it needs to be ported. does not have to have it. Will run alot better with it. My 4-mill with the spacer set-up does not perform the way it should. But I could not afford a stroker set-up and porting at the same time. So porting will have to wait until the next top-end rebuild.

  18. Yeah I have a service manual. I adjusted it as good as I could. It is very close. Could there be somthing else screwed up?
  19. I just recently had to replace the little adjuster bolt on the shifter behind the clutch cover. Now it won't shift worth a f***. It does not shift well up or down. will the bolt not being adjusted right do this? I figured it would shift better one way than the other if it was not adjusted right. It seems to shift better without using the clutch. But sometimes i will bring the lever up 3 or 4 times before it will shift. It did not do this before.

  21. I need a stock kicker and pegs. I'd also like an ez pull clutch lever. It seems like I have to use both hands to pull in my clutch. The kicker just needs to be cheap. I don't care how bad it rattles.
  22. How do those pipes compare to T-5's? More low end, mid, or top end power? I'm looking for low end. Plus I love the center mount mufflers ...
  23. Yeah. I was just going to go with the yfz arms because they would be free. Will The yfz shocks work with a-arms that are designed to run with long shocks? I'm not buying wide arms that are designed for stock shocks. But I can't afford long travel elkas and wide arms at the same time. So I'm hoping the yfz shocks would work for a while.
  24. OK. how about +2 arms? Since these shock are longer than stock, will they work with long travel arms? Then I can later get a pair of elkas. I don't want wide arms setup for stock shocks. What are a decent set of arms that will not cost me an arm/leg? I remember hearing that full flight sucks. What is the deal with them?
