I am installing a hotrods stoker crankshaft because a rod bearing blew and ended up screwing the stock crank up. But when the bearing blew up, the pieces fell under the crank and got wedged up between the crank and the case. It's scratched up a little. This won't realy hurt will it? The case is still perfect where the crank bearings sit so I'm sure the case is fine. But want more opinions. Another question is will the stock yamaha wrist pin bearings work with this hot rods crank and wiseco 795 pistons? All I can find are stock bearings. What is the best stuff to use to seal the case? I've heard of yamabond and hondabond. Either of these any good or is there better stuff? Any replies appreciated. Thanks -Josh

Parting out 2 banshee's
atvfreestylekid replied to Highly Boosted's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
I need a clutch cable, kicker, all bolts for the stator cover, and the little bolt for the clutch lever. Have any of that? If so, give me a shipped price. I don't care if the kicker rattles it's ass off. I just need a cheap kicker. Thanks. -
I need a stock head (minus cams) for my brother in law's kfx 400. Realy just need the head(no valves, cams, etc). But if cheap enough, will take complete. Our problem is that the cam seat(I think that's what it's called. i don't do 4-strokes) is screwed up and now the cam does not sit in it's propor position and is extremely hard to turn. The timing chain will not tighten up good also. So If anyone has a head, let me know. Thanks -Josh.

When I wreck, I always get banged up or break a bone. I always make sure the quad will survive with the least damage possible. Even if I'm going to get hurt. Momma will fix me, but not the shee  . Plus I got insurence.

Flywheel puller will not fit but is right tool
atvfreestylekid replied to atvfreestylekid's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
I've tried everything mentioned except the tree jaws puller and welding the tool to the flywheel. Lethaface had a lightend flywheel when i bought my crankshaft from him. maybe he still has it. Thanks for all the ideas guys. -
I hear that. I love the poping like sound they make. Alot of people don't but I do. Plus they last forever. Thanks for all the kind words guys

This is a 1965 ford falcon futura. But it's got a 289 V8 that's fed by a 600 holley carb, and a 4-speed. It also has disc brakes now. I love it. It's not real fast or powerful but she has a very deep wicked sound. Looks pretty good to I think. It turns heads. I'm about to add power steering and a/c.

Never mind guys. Sorry to waist your time. It turns out the threads on the flywheel are fucked. Just like me. I have run out of money to put into this. I already had to buy a new crank. Still have to buy pistons, gasket kit, have the cylinders bored and now a damn flywheel. I don't see how you gus afford this shit. Oh well, I guess I can make up an imaginary friend to talk to. I have nothing/nobody else to do anything with. -
I got a flywheel puller but it wont thread on. I've looked at 4 or 5 different tools for the shee and all have the same threads as mine. So I got the right one. I've oiled the shit out of the tool and flywheel but no luck. How can I tell if it is the stock flywheel? I've got to get this thing running. It's the only fucking friend I have  . Thanks -Josh
-
And another. For a 289, it runs pretty strong and has a very deep voice. Headers and glass packs will make anything rumble I guess. It's nothing fast or powerful but it sure beats driving an old honda or nissan.

I have a buddy with a pinto that you can be rolling along abou 20mph then floor it, and it will wite smoke both back tires. It's got a 351 winser stuffed in it. It's nasty. Last time I saw it I was like "damn Jonny, it would run good if you could ever get the beast to hook up".
-
Well, today's 4-strokes still suck and I still don't see why anyone would want to ride them...
-
Ok, i'll pick some up when I go get my flywheel puller I ordered, tomorrow. Thanks alot -Josh

I'm installing a stroker crank. will I need a gasket where the case splits? I'm sure it does, but I have not found one for sale. also, does it need two of the gaskets under the cylinders? One on each side of the spacer? thanks -Josh
-
That HotRods stroker got bearings? Also, do you have the spacer plate for the stroker? I'm building a stroker. I need everything. I'm also very interested in that axle carrier to.

Come on guys. putting their plastic on a shee is the only way to make a roptor look fast.
-
While your at it. Put a 4-stroke in it so it can be slow AND ugly like the 350 craptor. I can't stand cut finders, but I'd cut mine before I put raptor plastic on it. Why the hell would you want it to look like a raptor? But hey guys, not all raptors are slow. I was hallin ass when I passed my friend's 660 :baseball_bat: .

My shee came with some shitty clamps that hold the boost bottle to the boot that ended up leaking. I did not even know it was leaking, but I decided to replace them with the screw driver adjustable ones for insurance on better seal. After I put them on I almost ended up on my ass! I fired it up and rode around. When I cracked the throttle in 3rd gear the front end went sky bound. It runs so much better now.I never thought it had a leak anywhere because it would do 85mph with the leak. But now it is alot faster and stronger in the bottom. So if you have the clamps that you use a pair of pliers to remove, you should change them to the screwdriver type. Everyone prolly knows this already. But If anyone feels that there shee does not run as strong as it should, give this a try. Hope this helps somone. -Josh
