  1. I was using a set of 35 PWK's befor but now I am using the 39PWK's. I didend notice any problems just wondering if they would work better if they were verticuly level. (???) Auctly, I have not got to use them yet so I wouldent know if any thing is wrong.
  2. You might have sheared your flywheel key. Or the flywheel bult might have backed out. That or maby the flywheel craped out on you. When my flywheel took a crap on me. It would get a spark every now and agin. I would rather push a Banshee then ride a 4-stroke.
  3. Will my carbs be working properly it they do not sit level? The tops off my carbs have to sit inword cause off my sheer pipes. They dont tilt to much. I will try to get a pic up later so you can see better what I am trying to saying.(???)
  4. It looks prity good. I kinda like the yellow on top. I like the bumper also. If your going to be at sand mountion for memorial day weekend. I might see you out their if it is not to hot. If I do go, I will be heading out their on Thursday so that I can find a good place to set camp. Most likly going to be a ass load of people out their.
  5. What kind of pipes did that Banshee have on it? It sounded like a Hoover vacuum on steroids. Kind of different sounding.
  6. You must be the person on ebay that I got my UFO plastics from. Shipping would probly be cheeper if you dident use such a big box. They only come with the rear fender and front fender.. No top cover shroud thing. $260 is alot cheeper then I paid for mine. I would jump on that.

  10. Just swaped out my Dual 35 PWK carbs for Dual 39 PWK. Any Idea on where My pilot jet should be at? My ride is a 421 cub with mods in sig. Riden at sea level. Temp at 60 to 80. Thanks
  11. Are you using stock carbs or the 34 mm carbs you have listed in your sig? If you are using the 34 carbs, You are probly useing the wrong jets. I would hope that you are not using stock carbs with that setup.
  12. You should pull the flywheel off and shake it. You might hear sompthing broke inside of it. My flywheel took a crap on me just ideling one day. The broken sound was so faint that I could not even hear it. Somebody elce pointed it out to me. I was like I dont hear shit!! When we put a known good one on it fired right up. Mind you that I check everything elce posible first. (Coil, startor, wireing harness, voltage regulator, spark plugs coil pickup) It turned out to be a flywheel. Good luck man
  13. I just got to take my 421 cub to the sand this week for the first time ever. Under full power it is kinda of scary shifting. Some times it will take me 2 or 3 tries to get it into the next gear. After taking my cub to the sand for the first time. I now know why people got so pissed when somebody talks about taking cubs on trail rides and such. Long story short, I will never put dirt tires on my 421 cub agin. Atleast I hope not to.

  16. Do NOT use a 3 jaw puller. Unless you want to buy a new flywheel. You need a flywheel puller to do it right. They only coast like $12 bucks. Jeff at Rast Racing has them. link is on top of the page.
  17. Yes, I had the same good experinces with Buchanan Racing also. I havent got a chance to ride with my new elka shock. but they are sweet. Buchanan Racing has good people to talk to and deal with. I will reckomend them to anybody that dose not like to deal with loosers like. (cascade ) Thanks washburn and Buchanan Racing.

    Like it says, I want to take my 421 cub to the 1/4 mile race way. Let me know what kind of drag tires you have for sale. I also need a smaller rear sprocket. :biggrin:
  19. The power lid was the first mod I did to my Banshee. I moved up 4 main jet sizes (200 to 240), but that was alittle rich. I would say try a 310. Like fastrthnu said," Its better to be rich then lean."
  20. Did you screw the dipstick in when you checked it? I am not 100% sure but I dont think you do it like that. Just wipe dirt away first, unscrwe dipstick, wipe off, put it in, pull it out, read oil level. Maby that was for my lawnmower.
  21. I have both the shift star and the shift pro kit. I think that with both the shift pro kit and shift star. It makes it role right over nutrule. I think that it would be easer to to find nutrul with just one or the outher, not both. With both the shift star and shift kit it dose make a super nice shift.

  23. Yes, what he said above. I ride my 421 cub with a +4 swing arm and have a blast. Dont get me rong it is a hand full but I can get it done. The motor that you have is pritty close to what is being done to my 06 Banshee. I was going to put a +2 swing arm on it. I have a hard time wipping the back end around in tight spots with my. +4 so I was going to put a + 2 on my 06 Banshee.

  25. If it is NOT the coil, CDI box, stator or the wireing harness. The next think to check is the flywheel. Take it off and swich with a friends flywheel. Or take the flywheel off and shake it. You might hear sompthing broke inside of it. Also check to see if your voltage regulator is pluged in. (silver box next to CDI box)
