  1. I installed my i4500 kit from hydrodynamics last week and took it out for the first time this weekend. The construction of the arms and shocks looked to be very high quality and I was very please with how professionally the kit was packaged and shipped. The i4500 kit consists of upper and lower arms +2+1, s.s. brake lines, p51ishocks, brake line clamps, tie rods, adjusting tools and instructions (which werent that great). Installation of the kit was fairly easy. I wish I could say the same for removal of the stock suspension... The only thing I was dissappointed with was the quad seemed to sit fairly high. I was told by one of the members of the forum that it should sag a little more after the shocks have been broken in. Aside from that I have no complaints as of yet. I went to leota trail head in michigan to test out the kit which is mostly sandy trails with a couple open areas and mud pits. The first thing I did when I got the quad unloaded was slam the first set of whoops in 3rd gear pinned.... as I wanted to see if I got my moneys (750 shipped) worth out of this kit. I was very pleased when I managed to go through a set of about 30 whoops over a distance of 50 yards or so without having to let off the throttle one bit! I never would have even dreamed about doing this with my stock suspension. To sum up my opinion I have very pleased with this setup. Although I will have to mess with the rebound damping a bit, that will come in time. The stabillity increase is unreal, I think I notice the inch forward more than the 4 inch width. The weight of the quad is distributed much more evenly now, it feels like a whole new quad.
  2. Take the snorkle off the airbox and run 40 or 50:1 with a high quality synthetic and you should be good.
  3. Are both plugs getting spark? When you switched the coil did the left side fire?
  4. Alright, thanks for the offer I appreciate it.

  10. Sold already? I was just trying to make up my mind on buying them :-/
  11. Retail is $700.... 700-300=400
  12. Suspension upgrade will help a lot. If thats not an option ive found that 4 in the front and 2.5-3 in the back works well.
  13. A friend of mine found 2 companies at autorama. There websites are: www.ccperformance.com www.exoticcoatings.com Both are under construction and neither have responded to my emails. I will just have to call them. One is in romulus and the other is in detroit.
  14. I have 2 lower arms for sale on ebay, auction ends tomorrow. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...8125&rd=1,1
  15. I dont like the idea of any type of "spacer" it is the cheap dangerous way to get a wider quad. If your going to do it, do it right. You can get brand new +2+1 arms for under 300 bucks. All your getting out of this kit is width. No travel increase, no stability increase, no more balance. I can only picture a person that never lets there tires leave the ground using this kit. Ive never used one, or seen one, but it seems flimsy to me. Not to mention the arms and shocks arnt designed for spacers.
  16. Stock bumper and grab bar or aftermarket?
  17. Bump.
  18. Or you could go with the Hydrp dynamics i4500 kit (shocks, +2+1 arms, s.s. brake lines, and all the other good stuff) for $700 and still have money for an axle and other stuff I got my kit on my quad and love it.
  19. They are +2+1 and turning is great. I feel like I can crank the handlebars at WOT in any gear and not flip. Thats prolly not that case but it gives you a good idea.
  20. Send pics of the bumper and grab bar to [email protected] please.
  21. Throw some pics at [email protected] please. Ill be sending them out to get cleaned up and powder coated as long as theres no dents.
  22. Thanks, I havnt gotten a chance to really ride it yet. Just around the front yard. I noticed a HUGE stability difference. As for the shocks themselves that judgement will have to wait until I get a chance to go to some trails.
