Well come Christmas time I ended up not havin the money to buy 'em. Still thinkin bout it tho, very seriously too. Only problem I have is where you have to cut part of the bottom arms to make them fit in the frame brackets. It seems like that would weaken it alot to me. I may hit up the guy I was spose to get mine from and see if he's still got 'em. Do they have heim's or just balljoints?

Is the sand there real fluffy? If so, and you're lookin to go fairly cheap but still a good tire, I'd look into the AMS Sand Snakes. They're super-light and hook-up pretty damn good on my buddies shee.

Well I'm not really sure what I'm gonna be usin the bike for yet. It's still pretty much stock yet and I haven't started buildin it how I want it yet. I'm leanin towards kind of a dune/recreational drag/trails bike. Hell I pretty much do everything so I'm just tryin to get the best of all worlds. I sure as hell know I don't feel like payin for a whole new front end...a-arms, shocks, and all.

Ball joints on my stockers are wore out beyond reason. I wanna upgrade to something that's a little nicer with heim joints, but everything aftermarket is +2+1. Does anyone make a nice stock sized a-arm with heim joints?

Stock shocks on +2+1's are gonna make you run kinda low for trails wouldnt they? PM AustinOneal, he's got some.

I'd definately say a 10 paddle. I'm in the same boat as you b/c at St. Joes and Waurika I can even get my 8 paddle V's to hook very nice but I went to LS and just spun the hell out of 'em. I guess I'm gonna have to get some different paddles for both places.

0000 steel wool and any kind of cleaner or chrome polish works great :thumbsup:

I'm at the same elevation with similar mods (T-5's and pods) and am running around a 320 main. Is Glamis a big elevation increase from where you live? I don't think jetting is the problem tho with it doing the cutting out thing, sounds more like electrical. I'd try tracing wires to see if something's grounding out somewhere.

Got a good deal goin on a Pro-design coolhead with 3 sets of domes. Problem is 2 of them are 15cc and the other is 16cc's. Now obviously that's too much for me as I'm lookin for around a 20cc dome. My question is could you have a machine shop turn out some of the dome material to accomplish a 20cc dome? I'm also wondering how they would measure how much to take out since cc's is a volume measurement not "how many thousandths to take out".

Yeah that's what I was thinkin bout. I'm tryin to get the best of both worlds with what I got right now, lol. Any easy way to completely flush the system out on these? Just take the hose loose from the clutch cover and turn it on it's side, I assume that would get most of it out of the motor and all.

Yeah I'm just trying to get by this time. Don't have anywhere in town to get Engine Ice right away or Water Wetter so I may just drain out all the engine ice that's in now and fill with a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and distilled water since it'll be setting awhile till the next time I ride it. I wouldn't really say I"m "topping it off" b/c I think I drained most of the Engine Ice out when I took the clutch cover off and had to take the tube off of it. I at least know the radiator is empty so would it be good to just top off with distilled water and w/e Engine Ice is left in the motor or drain it all and go with a 50/50 mix? Does the 50/50 antifreeze mix have the lubricants in it needed for the seals? I would assume it does since it's used in car engines.

Got my timing plate put on but it's diff. then the pro-design's or any others that I've seen that line up with the middle of the cases. Do you set it by the piece that has the pick-up coil on it that slides, and just line that up w/ what degree you want?

Just lookin to see what's out there. If you got a good enough deal I'll probably bite and get it. Lookin for a 19 or 20cc domes. Let me know whatcha got.

Yeah I accidentally did that with mine a few times and made a damn mess. Don't think it'd hurt anything really.

I agree w/ that, I try to at least keep it above freezing. My problem is I tore it down and dumped most of the engine ice out and had asked for some for Christmas but didn't get it and I wanna ride this week and won't be able to get any unless I pay out the ass for shipping. I was just gonna top off with water to ride this week and weekend then get some engine ice on the way.

Bike's got a little bit of engine ice left in it after i tore down a few weeks ago and I was wondering if I could mix it with distilled water? I know not to mix it with coolant but was wondering if I could just fill it up the rest of the way with distilled water or do I need to drain and do all distilled water or 50/50 distilled water/coolant? J/w what's the best idear.
