  1. Just wondering but what would the 421 Drag ported Cheeta Cub Cylinders, 4 mil Crank, Weisco Pistons approximately run for? How much coin?
  2. Where is that river wash at? I have heard about it but never checked it out.
  3. I agree, and polish up your pipes and rims. Could also paint your plastics or a renew kit.
  4. You must drive pretty damn fast. I do 2.5 hours to dumont from Victorville. I ride at Dumont, Glamis, Stoddard wells, and El Mirage. Stoddard wells over el mirage.
  5. Easy way, warm up the pipes and 00 or 000 steel wool. Comes right of without a hassle.
  6. A good ratio mix is from 32:1 to 50:1. I would reccomend getting a mixing cup. It breaks it down for ratio mixing and by the gallons of fuel. No it does not make a difference to refill teh tank with the same kind of mixed fuel. If you were changing oils then I would recommend to do a flush in everything.
  7. Like everyone else says there are plenty of knowlegdable people here, my hats off to them. Have learned very much about my banshee and saved lots of $$$ doing the work myself. Thanks to everyone involved in the HQ including the creator.
  8. Depending on your experience will determine how long it will take. It's pretty basic: take off the wheel, and then unbolt the a-arm with the shock. You can probably find those parts int he for sale forum.
  9. The fronts got to go. It shows off the chrome on the pipes a lot more. Cleaner look.
  10. The black definitely makes it stand out. NICE
  11. Nice job guys. Wish I had time to that. Maybe int he summertime when riding slows down.
  12. I got one that I just removed, and I lost about 9.5HP when it was removed. I even had to jet down. By the way, you want to buy it?
  13. Mines right there, you see it? Cuz I don't.
  14. I'll take the chuck.
  15. Do a plug chop. And there are some guys here selling a few sets of used pipes for good deals. It's worth the coin.
  16. I ran the T5's without any porting and run good. Now I got the porting and runs sick. Yeah and don't forget the boost bottle! :shoothead:
  17. I would go higher on the mains. Probably a 300 to do a plug check. It is always better to be rich than lean. You said cold weather so I'm assuming below freezing. Temps are important, what temps are you riding. If you drop in temp you go up on mains. Let us know.
  18. Tranny oil change, I would open carbs up to clean them, at the same time you will learn what size jets are in there and needle adjustment. It wouldn't be a bad idea to check the reeds for breaks or cracks.
  19. Thanks, Chevy, Any suggestions where I can get that kit from? for all the seals
  20. Just found that my tranny is leaking through the shifter shaft(left side of case. Is this a common problem. Is there some kind of a seal that goes on the left side of the case for the shifter. Going riding tomorrow but will be checking oil level frequesntly. Really don't want to pull clutch cover off but have a feeling I'm going ot have to. Any help will be appreciated. Got to get it ready for glamis next weekend. Thanks in advance
  21. What do you guys do to speed up the drying process for foam filters. It just takes too long too dry in the winter, couple of days. :: Thinking about using a blow dryer.
  22. I know that the haulers are better. How much of a difference is there from these two? Is it a major difference or not? I have the sandstars. Am I better off switching or putting the money towards engine mods.
