  1. What is your elevation and temps? Who's bike did borrow, sometimes people don't want to tell you what they got. What jets are you running right now?
  2. I use the UNI oil, comes in a spray can. For K&N oils and cleaners you pay for the name. Simple Green to clean my foam filer.
  3. Hey dajojejr, off the subect but do you know who bores the stock carbs and what it runs for to get them done? How big can you get them bored to?
  4. Thanks a Bansh Man.
  5. To tighten down the cylinder you're gonna need a wrench adapter for the torque wrench in order to get in there. Motion Pro sells it. It is impossible to get a normal torque wrench and socket in there. Then because it adds length you have to recalculate the ft lbs. Here is the Wrench adapter. I just did a search on google, but I ordered mine directly from MotionPro.
  6. I went with the Ricky Stator plate and so have many members here. Pretty good price also.
  7. My bike is running fine with stockers, and a dune port. Noss head is next and then the carbs for me.
  8. The port work is done to your cylinders, not the head. Recommend you to take it to a reputable builder. Look up porting and who does it, on this page. Yeah some port work can run you around $400 including all your gaskets, bore and hone. You might consider doing a top end for another $150 for the pistons. These prices are if you do the installation yourself. Pretty simple, Clymer's definitely would make it cake. And some larger jets would be needed, few bucks.
  9. What is the time period that mixed gas can be kept for and run it without any issues? I run Castor 927.
  10. Sounds like someone likes attention. There are more than enough threads about this topic. AttentionFreak
  11. Just got back from Dumont. People were rolling in as I was leaving. So you guys better get out there as soon as you guys can to get a good spot. Have fun guys!!!
  12. So is there a majic number to cut off for each style of riding. Got a lathe at work and didn't even think about it till I read this. Dune riding, is the a number to cut off. Is it a noticable difference?
  13. ^^^^Seems to get squirted in his eye quite a bit.
  14. When I got my Passion Dune port put back together my comp was at 110PSI. I thought it was pretty low at first but shee rips fine.
  15. No, but I recently did it and it's pretty simple. Remove cover, Flywheel, then the stator.
  16. Plug chop is only for checking your mains. Make sure you plug chop is done with new plugs and warm the engine up first then put them in. Rev through all the gears and on 6th shut it to off and hold the clutch in. Let it coast to a stop. I would probably go to a 27.5 on the pilot and try the middle clip. What are your temps and your elevation?
  17. I would put the OE intake tube in place of a boost bottle. For this Aaron guy :shoothead: , looks like your kind of new here. There are plenty of knowledgeable people on this site about 2 strokes, most of them will tell you boost bottles are known for cracking boots and no performance over the stock tube.
  18. Must appear to look really stupid and likes to open his mouth.
  19. Looking for a inatke crossover tube if you got one let me know? PM me info. Thanks
  20. Got rid of the boost bottle and now looking of rthe intake tube.
  21. No thanksgiving for me, I'll make it out on the 17-18th. Gonna try to avoid the crowd. Have fun
  22. Got ripped off at trinity.
  23. I am having the same problem, just got the porting done. What about cutting every other row of threads, haven't done it but am thinking about doing it.
  24. Go up a size on the pilot. When you choke it you richen the circuit up. So if it runs better with the choke then it is lean. Mine starts without a choke right now, it has 32.5, I have to go down a size. Got o 27.5
