  4. unless you have something to help absorb the viberation im betting the video is going to suck... digital cameras tend to auto focus when ther get raddled around alot and look like shit, you should try to rid it to you casue your body dosnt move as much as the bike... i know you and most of us dont feel like spending this money on something like that but they make helmet cams that are small so theres nothing to get in the way as well but they are like 200 bones.

  6. if thats the case get your head milled .020 get an adjustable timing plate and set it +4 ...some like lightened flywheel for trials but i dont like how they die when in the hard slow corners...
  7. if it is electrical its usally only casued while its wet but after a week everything is dried out and should run normally, now this is assuming the water from washing it is casuing the electrical problem and not the life of an electrical component going out. also did he wash it and start it back up after wards? if so maybe he got something wet enternally and casued a short? but that dosent explain it only being top end..
  8. not really a break in on them just dont go balls out until you ride it and make sure its adjusted right and shifting through all gears..

  11. exactly what i was going to say but you beat me to it ! Polish actually has a big ass computer heat sink on the bottom of his radiator... i gave him shit the first time i saw it but man that thing gets fukin hot! it is for sure pulling some heat out of that radiator!

  17. id agree here idle who gives a damn about light at idle you need it when riding not sitting in camp. i wouldnt try to do the dc conversion, i have hear MANY MANY stories of ppl blowing out a brand new 200 watt ricky stator after about 2 rides, these kits you have to solder wires to pickup and what not.
  18. well obviosly the black side is rich and fouled out... make sure the carbs are seated all the way in so you dont lean the other out... there was more then likley no need to go bigger on your main, that controls your top end, if anything your pilot needed to be changed and/or your needle clip
  19. follow your key wires down to the plug connector under your plastics,there should be 3 or 4 wires depending on the year.... unplug the wire from the connector, the connector should have 2 wires cut the connector off and strip both wires... twist them together and your good to go. go to walmart and get the liquid tape its in the automotive section, use it to seal the wires from dirt dust and water.
  20. the impeller seal went bad casueing his coolant to leak into is clutch cover and mixing with his tranny fluid. as far as his head gasket it dosent sound blown his bike isnt smoking its got wet exhaust tips. meaning something isnt burning all the way off, so he either is running too much oil in his premix and it is saturating his packing , running to rich and all the gas isnt being burned , or if it is coolant it could be the head gaskets leaking or the base gaskets at the jugs and case letting collant past, or possibly a crank seal letting his tranny fluid into his motor. check your tranny level if its getting low that the case...

    instead of turning off the 8 and going to the 78 you stay on the 8 for about 20-30 more min and there is an exit right off the 8 to gordons well you can go oneither side of the 8 to ride...
  23. it also means your getting less lubrication and less motor life as well .... 80:1 is unrealistic... 40:1 is boarder line cutting it your turning too many rpms to try and cut out the oil , you simpily wont get enough lubrication and will stick your motor
  24. the impeller has nothing to do with the coolant getting into the motor its the seal that went out, i can agree with is getting the billet impeller reguardless of what company you go with as insurance that your stocker dosent go out and overheat your motor making you blow gaskets..
  25. your clutch is mily becasue your impeller seal went bad and is leaking collant into your tranny... you got to pull the cover and repalce the seal in there... what oil gas ratio are you running? smellthe "wet" stuff on thepipes if it smelllike burnt oilits just that if it was collant it will have a strong nasty scent...
