  7. i have noticed that snop likes to do his own thing to prove other wrong. the simple fact is that taking your compression to 170 isnt not advise that is recommended. can it happen? yes. is it smart? no. theres no point in testing the waters. for the amount of differance in power from 21cc to 20cc vice the reliability its an ez choice.

  11. you should use the search botton and look up boost bottle. you will find everything you need to know about them
  12. for the cost of getting stock jugs punch and big bore sleeves added you can get after market jugs and sell those. how ever if your not looking at making a drag bike then this isnt your route to go... first off theres no reason to punch those jugs to simply run a big bore piston. the amount of power your going to get vice the life span on those stock jugs isnt worth it. stick with the closest bore size thats one them and get the mods you listed plus a 4mil stroker. just keep in mind there is not one mod at a time type thing whith this. with the motor comes a new clutch, and a longer swinger, with swinger comes longer chain, whe you get a new chain you dont want to run old sprokets... catch my drift?
  13. to be safe go with 21's the only way to be 100% sure is to do a compression test with your new domes. you dont want to slap them in and just take off. if your running to much compression for your octane your going to f that motor up

  16. that sounds like the shift shaft... not your forks.... when the shift shaft gets worn out it will not turn the star. when your forks are bent it will feel like your getting ready to shift and a metal rod got jammed in the way.

  19. it sounds likely, but i can not say for sure thats it...you said you replaced the plates right? how bad did the old ones look?
  20. no you can do just the forks... when you open the cases up the fork ride on the shift drum, and are held in place by two two dowel rod type things make sure that all three of them are good and theres no bends or nicks in any of them.
  21. are you sure its your shift shaft and not your forks? normally the shift shaft will not allow it to shift for shit at any time because it does not catch the notches on the star
  22. yea there is a 5 gallon one too.. its actually like 5.3 or something like that. the bigger one is the tank you hav to cut your plastics for it to fit... this is what it looks like. i dont have picts with my bike put together so i just slapped my plastics on the frmae and snapped a shot
  23. its the same thing they do with central air for A/C units. from the unit the conduant is large and as it move farther from the unit and passing the vents you lose the amount of pressure to the remainng vents so they taper them down to makeup for it.
  24. its the 4 gallon tank. yes the stock petcock will bolt right on it... when i get home today ill see if i have any picts with it.
