  1. That's cool.. Take a bunch of pics and post em up  I always go to the Sand Show out here!
  2. Go ahead and get them. They look nice on dune bikes! I had those before and now moved onto the Hawks. no major difference in turning, I mainly toss the rear end into the turn. You really don't need the fronts, the knob's will do fine. I have my fenders shaved and never have a prob with sand kicking up. Not a big deal!
  3. You have the air filter, that's good! Now how about removing the airbox lid to let it breath? More air + bigger jets for the bigger pipes = More Power. These mods welcome future motor/cylinder work. Sounds like the best paddle for you would be the Sandstars, they'll grip all around. I'd suggest a 10 paddle for a stroked Shee only. And though I luv my T5's I'd say go for the FMF Fatties who are to have same performance + they're silencers come with spark arrestors. T5's require bolt on sparky's that cost over $150. I have an FMF Fatty on the my kid's Blaster, it's badass!! Order the Outerwear for the filter from any vendor, everyone has them! Ride the shit out of it and be safe. Don't shift that next gear if you don't feel comfortable. Don't worry bout competition just practice riding skills. You'll be ready for more upgrades once you get that down. When new top end is due you can get port & head work, aftermarket reeds, cluth & shifting mods! Wikipedia's Banshee definition is the best sand bike ever!
  4. How about a link for Jet Hot? Those look really good! Any blueing on the headers after running?
  5. Only once while friends & I were trying to conquer a climb at a trail spot. Steep friggin climb on high gears and we couldn't get it. We would just whoop it around when we lost momentum. A guy in a truck watching us pulls up and ask why we keep turning around and why can't we just cruise it in second. Then goes on how his Polaris can just pull tow two of our quads up the hill on second.. and very sarcastic about it too! I laughed my ass of in his face & called it BS! Told him to bring his shit so I can show him what a ported Banshee would do. That gave me encouragement and I hit the climb lol.. Later on doing wall rides in another area, we catch him taking pics of us coming down into the jumps. Besides that guy, Riders out here don't act that way. Everyone is good with each other regardless of your off road vehicle. Always meet and talk to diff riders out on the trails. They'll give me their 4 stroke speil & I'll speak my 2 stroke thoughts. And that's it! We all play by the rules & every off-roader respects & helps each other. I have no business walking up to someone else camp & ragging on their atv & they don't either so it doesn't happen. Every spot has a lineup for drags. You're welcomed to line up and punch the throttle and you don't get judged or bashed. It's all about the sport and riders respect it...
  6. Did you cut the top or bottom of the springs? If you cut the bottom it could get hung up on the brass clip that secures the cable. If it's the slide guide then it's not a prob since it's adjustable. I cut two rings off my springs & got a new thumb throttle. Besides the extended lever, the mechanism in the housing is built different for a smoother push. Also added a Motion Pro steel braided cable, it bends & guides easier. I can dune & trail ride thru the whole tank without a tired thumb.
  7. Ha haa. That's cool!
  8. WTF?? What's up with the pic of the gay dudes??
  9. You gotta have her moving in order to shift. Go Ride!
  10. You're absolutely correct. Many riders have their pipes coated & besides the forums always see it at the shops. Had a long talk with a reputable shop who serviced my Shee cylinders. He had his dirtbike header coated as well. I did a home made black ceramic outside my T5's & hold to heat very well. No bubbles.. No flakes!
  11. Luv that one! It's sporty! Have it on the Blaster
  12. Check your chain slack and sprockets for wear!
  13. You won't blow the pistons unless it's lean. Pull the head, maybe your hone and rings have just shaved off and can get away with a fresh hone, rings... But if you have other toys than take those out for the ride! The blaster won't get you far up the steep dunes but the lt can get you further
  14. I'll vouch for 8Ball, I've done a few biz transactions with him with MO's. Nothing wrong with doing biz his way, just diff from the normal. I'll take a stab at that black fender if doesn't bite. Thanks & free bump for a good guy!!
  15. I'm going to try it over my headers myself, i'll report back on that!
  16. Ha ha, some gangsta shit!
  17. I have the billet one because I got a deal on it, but plastic is the wise choice Better for the plastic to get chewed up than jamming up in the billet one. Tether's good idea like jet ski's, you fall, kill the motor & it stops running. I'm getting one for my daughter's blaster, better for it to stop than running down a trail for it.
  18. Fill it in with alum weld and reshape it with the dremel! John is the man, got a box full of Blaster stuff in two days & prices are unbeatable!
  19. Pour some out, you can feel the oil in your hands & will stay wet.. Straight gas will evaporate!
  20. How's the pressure feel on the kicker? You shouldn't feel much if compression is that low. Sounds like your Comp-Tester is screwed up, try a different one! Take that baby out and kick some sand!!
  21. Sent that out for ya today, should arrive tomorrow k..
  22. Free bump for finally selling the tank man! Someone will get some good rides in for sure!
  23. Wow!!! Those look really good man. You do nice work!
  24. Any pics of the cover mounted?
  25. I got this long ago off the bay.. Hunted it down for two years, didn't want it after got it lol.. Still want the Duncan though. I don't like those 3 bar ones!
