That 240 just sounds too low for me. No one I know on the west coast sea level jets under 280. I won't even run a 240 on the Blaster.

Sure the premix ratio is right and that carb crosstube is in place? Yeah, def need to come up on the jetting, 2 turns out on the a/f with stock pilots on 270's sounds more like it. I didn't understand about the idle screws, what's up in that area?

I've heard you complain about their customer service many times and I can see why! I ordered a friggin spark arrestor kit under 20 bux and takes over a week to send it... and this place isn't far, I can drive there! For some reason I received it the day after complaining about.. And the order was incomplete. So here I go on the phone & got help after 10 min of being transferred around to diff lines!! And I'm not kidding!! And there hold music & commercials are horrible too lol!! Friggin annoying!!!!!!!!!

I would also try leaning out the fuel mixture. You're using alot of Premix Oil!

I remember when they were priced over $300. This one came from GMO for $189, they added a %10 discount on it. BTO Sports had them for $160. Either will ship free since purchase is over $100. Last Glamis trip Sanshots & I stopped at Chapparal Motorsports & they had em for $120. I think prices went down on the helmet because it's a closeout item!

Got me a new helmet yesterday, best of all it was free!! Actually it was a gift!!! My old O'neil finally took a crap at the beach, the bill ripped off.. So I finally picked up this bad boy I've been eyeballing for a while. Beleive it or not, I modify my helmets too. I shave down some of the foam in some areas to make it an even more comfy it. The airways are getting ported too lol... I just make them bigger and round them off to increase airflow & keep the noggin cooler! Also found out KBC Racing is just two miles from my me & located at 2380 N. Ontario St. Burbank, Ca. 91504. They might let them go cheaper than the shops. Here's a few pics:

Let me know how that works for you. I've been looking at them but wondered... I do have a Digital Caliper from HB bout $25 & works great. Also bought the ATV Jack for $50 + $5 for a one year warranty. Makes wrenching easier & works perfect.

Jetting sounds good but that doesn't mean you didn't have an air leak on one of the gaskets or seals. I leakdown test would determine so. Debris in the crankcase is very bad. You don't want anything muching away at the crank & bearings & you sure as hell don't want it ruining the new bore/hone! If the piston did break, you'll prob also find alum chunks in the pipe!

Sounds like it might of gone lean and seized up. Damaged rings & holes in the piston don't allow compression. Take that top end appart & let's see the damage. Hopefully there's no debris in the crankcase , if so you'll have to split the cases. Top end kids are a bit over a bill, RJATV has good prices on those top end kits. Common price for bore & hone is 50 bux a hole. Check the domes for pitting..

Buy a reg size chain from RJATV & link it up to your other chain. That chain price he has is damn good!!

I've seen used T5's & FMF's go for $300-$350 search around, there's always a deal! :thumbsup:
