Those are my favorite cars of all time :cool: I had a 68 with a 70 ls6 454 and I loved that car to. I have had some cool cars but the 70 chevelle is my unicorn.

Like the topic says I need a complete motor running or not perfered not running. would also like non-ported cylinders. Would be willing to trade some go fast parts if you need something let me know

you have a problem some where if you cant get full range with the stock thumb. I have 40mm with the stock unit. adjust the screews on top of the carbs

20 lbs and follow the tq pattern on the stock head all the studs are numbered

Also the air desity is afected here at 5280 we lose .7 points of compresion and 1.2-1.3 points where we race at 8500 ft so yes a big bore pipe does affect Things. One guy had a .104 methanol jet with the power jets 2 turns in, in his 10mm cub try that at sea level and watch what happens

Your float is stuck tap on the bowl with the handle of a screew driver and it should un stick
