  1. mines 30 thousands and i do not run engine ice, i havent had a cooling problem yet with it and ive been in the slowest of trails
  2. you should be good to go on that, its definately worth it, i noticed a bigger gain with it and milling my head then i did with my pipes

Well ive decided to go ahead and get my bike ported while i have it tore down, im wanting a mx/trail port because i ride mainly trails, id like to hear some reviews of everyone who has them and who did their work for them, id like to know what the estimated hp would be with my mods in sig, also would it be for the better to upgrade the clutch or will the stock one handle the extra hp, my bike is an 03 but this was the first season on it cuz the guy i got it from never touched it, any info will be appreciated also id like to know the total of each port/rebuild to see how much its gonna cost me to fix this thing

Well i was crusing at about 65 or so trying to keep up with the 4 strokes, raced my buddy again and the shee fell flat on its face, so the left side started backfiring pretty bad, did a compression test and the right side was 127lbs and the left was 62lbs , so i tore it down and got this: http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g57/mick...28/100_0651.jpg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g57/mick...28/100_0643.jpg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g57/mick...28/100_0631.jpg my question is how can i get the piston crap out of the exhaust port, its in there pretty thick?
  5. if your on a budjet just pick up some used pipes, ditch the airbox, mill the head, get a timing plate, put a bigger gear on the front, and u can lighten the flywheel, etc, then that banshee will be an absolute brute compared than it is now and that raptor and the 450s will be in your dust
  6. i put a 15t front sprocket on mine and loved it, before i would lose to my buddies ( 450s, 660's, 650s) when i had the stock gear on, i put on the 15t with a 4 degree timing plate and milled the head and i can pull them anywhere in a drag race, id say your looking around upper 70's with your mods, but a few other things on it and you will be in the low 80's easily, good luck and have fun

  9. my best friend has a ds, he use to blister me but not anymore with mods in sig, id rather have the shee for the trails, trust me when u get that thing stuck w/o a 4x4 with you, your gonna be cussing can am for making a tank that big w/o reverse
  10. im gonna try to check everything at once this week, i tried to start it a few mins ago, it wouldnt start after about 50 kicks and sometimes the left side would pop when i was kicking it
  11. i have the ricky stator adj plate so it couldnt be that

  13. well long story short, its been running good all weekend, well i was just cruising down the road a few mins ago, raced my buddy again and he killed me pretty good, i noticed that the powerband didnt have quite the hit to it, when i hit 6th he just pulled away when usually i do, i parked it beside the road and it just died on me, after 3 kicks it started back up but then the left side started backfiring really bad, i brought it home and it still had power but nothing like it did earlier today, and it was still backfiring like a mofo, i dont think jetting is the problem due to how its ran the last 2 days and evenings, could it be the tors? clogged carb, or have i screwed something up inside the motor??

  15. well i got it, took almost 4 hours, had to use the largest sledge hammer we could find, used a torch, a chissel, and a vice, but it wasnt as bad as i thought it was gonna be
  16. yeah its the axle bearings, so are they that hard to get out?, im going to be trying to fix this either tonight or tom night and i need all the help i can get on it... could someone give me a step by step instrution on this cuz no place around here has clymers manuals in stock and id love to go riding on thanksgiving
  17. Well my bearings went out in the rear, i have never rebuilt a banshee rear before, anyone have any advice on it?

  20. stay the f*ck out of my thread, the jetting is spot on right now, and no sorry but im not a dumbass who would oil the outerwears im going to get some new outerwears and try them to see what happens

  23. im not buying a foam filter, and i did jet it with the pods, and also if i was running too lean with them it wouldnt of killed a plug dead
