my wife has a 2001 honda 400ex it has a 15 tooth sprocket in front. It lugs really bad in the dunes but on the dirt it really fast. Should i go down to a 14 tooth or a 13, if anyone has a 400ex and has some advice that would be great. sorry its not a question about a 2 stroke!

i have teh trail tech lights that mount onto the handle bars they are way brighter than stock and i love them on the handle bar so the light move when you move! i would highly recomend these lights easy to install and makes a huge diffrence!

i am in arizona so do the timing plate +4 is that what i should do and the cool head and 21cc dome? is it hard to install a new timing plate?

dont have a lot of engine ods just pipes and jet kit what front sprocket should i use 13? how can you tell if you need to go down or up on your front sproket?

what do you think the best reeds are to use i have heard the g force 2 or 3s any comments on these! lots of people say the g force 2 whats the diffrence?

will it be bad to do the timing without porting and polishing the head or doing any engine work. because this bike is like new maybe 6 rides on the engine so i think i will wait till it needs a top end . do you think that if i do the new reeds and the timing it will wake the engine up a little?

where do you think the best place to get the head ported and polished at? do you the v-force 2 or 3 reeds are better? and what about the timing +4 timing key what all does that do and is it easy to put in?

I have a stock motor and i am looking to do more dont want to spend alot of money and do to much work any suggestions on a $1000 dollar budget. have t6 pipes and uni filter and jet kit what do i do next! timing? cool head? port and polish? not too sure where to go next dont want to be a drag banshee still love to dune with it!
