  2. ive never rode a banshee with dg pipes, but i do remember seeing a post somewhere when dirt wheels did a dyno shootout on all the pipes then, and i do remember that the dg's had the most horsepower out of all the pipes they had on the dyno, maybe you could just take your dough that your spending on gnarlys, and maybe get you a mx/trail port or other boltons, i think you would be happier with a port instead of the fmfs :thumbsup:

  6. your on the last bore size i think, thats .100 over, i would guess that it has some sort of dune or drag port done to it, but its hard to tell without seeing the pictures of the ports, and is that hotrods crank a stroker? we need to know the size of your carbs, what compression your at, timing, air filters etc, but id say if its ported good then maybe in the mid to high 50s if your on stock carbs, also i have a top end that i just listed on ebay that i bought from dishman on here and never ran them, if your interested just let me know man, im just a hop and a step from you
  7. man that guys sucks donkey balls, im a former mp and i am in college now to get a degree in criminal justice, i plan on being a patrol officer and that guy shouldnt of done you that way, hell its a very minor offense and i wouldnt of even stopped you unless i would of thought u had been drinking, i think cops should be out looking for more serious crimes than patrolling for stupid traffic bullshit the way they do, the only tickets im ever gonna give is if your doing something retarded that you know you shouldnt be doing in the first place

  12. i have the stock cylinders off my 03, the right side had 127lbs compression and is in excellent shape, but the left side had 62lbs, they are stock bore/unmolested, im no engine expert but a hone job or the next largest bore should clean it up, the left side has minor scratches on the upper portion of the walls and has a small piece of piston melted to the wall, also it will need a minor clean up of the exhaust port, also i have a stock air box, filter, intake, and reeds if you need them im looking for some nice 28-30mm carbs or a single 35mm trinity can get pics of everything on request
  13. i like my pro circuits, i was gonna order t5's but the same day i bidded on set on ebay for 154.00, and i won, they have a really nice hit in them and im sure it will put a smile on your face, but if your concerned about the later hit of other pipes, then you can consider to lighten your flywheel, that will help you get in the powerband alot sooner

  15. i clocked my buddies modded ds at 83mph on my bike, and i can creep from him on top end, so im running around 84-85mph is my best guess, thats without the woods port, everything else in my sig the same, whats your mod list?

  18. Ive been looking at some different carbs here lately, i cant make my mind up with a 2into1 or the set of 30mm d slides on ebay. Which carb would benefit me the most with my mods in sig? I ride mostly trails and fireroads and i really dont wanna loose alot of topend, so how is the 2into1 vs the 30mm in the performance department?
  19. both of those bikes (yfz and trx) are so close on peformance that it shouldnt even be brought up, you could switch out riders all day long and the race outcome would be different everytime, IMO the trx has way better ergonomics than the yfz, but just take her out and let her choose which one she likes, i think she will be happy with any of the 400+ machines

  21. im rebuilding my banshee and need a lil info, right now the jetting is temps: 50-70 elevation 800+ft mains 320 air screw 2 turns out stock pilot mods are pc pipes, milled head, +4 timing, and pods but heres the new setup mild woods port, air box with uni filter (no lid) either .20 or .40 over(will check tomorrow) and the other mods so does anyone have a guess on what i should start out with a plug chop with?
  22. the pistons was already matched to the cylinder, im just gonna hone it out and replace the rings because the pistons are in decent shape already, so its a 65.00mm correct?
  23. I bought some used jugs and pistons, i was told that they are .20 over and im just wanting to confirm that, heres what i can read on the pistons 0035A and i cant tell the other numbers in the center due to carbon but it looks like the last 4 is 6500 so what bore sizes are these?

  25. i ran 320's with my piped, pod, banshee, i think i had the air screw almost 2 turns out, i played with the pilot and put a 27.5 and it was tough to start, so i went back to stock on the pilot jet, but i guess im gonna use the guess and check method again next month when i get my port/rebuild back
