  1. i finally put the outerwears over my k&n pod filters, here is the strange thing though, when i put them on it feels like its cutting out really bad and has about 1/2 the power it usually has, i took them back off and it screamed again, so does anyone know what could be causing this cuz i need the outerwears, oh yeah main jet 320, stock pilot, air screw 1.5 turns out, it was 65 out today, and elevation is apporx 700ft
  2. i went today and had shorter vavle stems installed and it still hits the brake caliber, so does anyone know where i can get some invisible stems? if not then where should i drill a hole in the rim on the other side?

  4. most of the trails and pretty good, but once in a while we may run into some really hairy ones
  5. im still trying to outrun the 450s in a straight line, i still cant get them yet, so i was wondering if milling the head and lightening the flywheel will help me out some, im not planning on running race gas so any input here would be appreciated
  6. Im thinking about getting a fast woods port sometime soon if i keep my banshee. I was wondering what kinda gain i would see with this. My mods are in my sig, would this port kill my top end or will it benefit from it, i ride mostly trail with some fireroads sometimes but i also do some dragging on pavement against the 450s, baja's, raptors and so on, so will i see a noticeable difference in power with the port?
  7. mine did the same thing, i had put in 320 mains and a 27.5 pilot with the airscrew .5 the way out, then after being puzzled all evening i just put the stock pilot back in and adjusted the airscrew and it stopped
  8. i paced my buddys 660 raptor and 650 baja on my bike, the raptor ran 77mph and the ds ran 83 banging the rev limiter, with my mods in sig i can pull from the raptor but the ds pulls me, so im guessing anywhere between 79-81mph

  10. it has k&n pods, 320 main jet, and its just a lil rich, and oh yeah i guess since i have 30 some post means im a 15 year old kid and i havent ridden anything with any power , i did however this weekend put on a timing plate (+4) and a 15t sprocket and i finally did pull the raptor and now im up with the baja through the gears

  13. i think i got my puller off of vitos for bout 10 bucks, i would recommend using an air gun to get the flywheel nut off and to screw in the flywheel puller bolt to get it off, a hell of alot easier than using a regular ratchet
  14. well i have set of pro circuits, k&n clamp ons, and a 320 main jet right now and i did beat a new outlaw, barely edged out a 660 raptor, and i lost to a 06 450r and a baja, they just crept away from me, im going to add a timing plate this weekend to try it again and see how i do
  15. Well last night i installed my k&n pods and the timing plate, and i think the jetting is way off. It has pro circuit pipes on it right now and heres what i jetted my bike with, i have a set of 320 mains for the starting point on the main jet, i also installed a set of 27.5 pilot jets, and ive played with the airscrew some, when i get the bike started it bogs and backfires like a mofo, the bike did not do this earlier last night with stock pilots and 270s, So you guys think i need to go back to a 25 pilot and check it again or is something else the problem?????

  18. the only place we ever race is on pavement, i still have stock dunlops on it thats pretty wore down, i did get one win last night and it was from a dig, i raced my old 400ex and he did get toasted lol, im really hoping the pods and the timing advance will help because i have some more races lined up for next weekend, oh yeah i couldnt of fucked up on shifting every race because we raced a shitload of times, im just trying to figure out how to toast that raptor like i did that 400ex lol
  19. my buddys bike has a k&n filter and that is it, nothing else. My elevation here is around 900ft above sea level, It kinda sucked buying a set of pipes and the only thing i got out of it was sound instead of performance

Well i stuck a set of pro circuits and removed the snorkle on my bike, i jetted the carb with a 270 main and its just a hair rich, well anyways my best friend has a 02 660 raptor, We raced today and the way it seems the banshee gained maybe 2 horsepower, we were still neck and neck all through the gears and top end, this is coming from racing last week with stock pipes and today with pcs, the outcome was the exact same, I was hoping to edge him out today but i couldnt, I guess i was expecting too much with pipes and now i realize that they dont help worth a damn except me loosing some low end, I will try it again next week with a 4 degree timing advance and some k&n pods, but so far i am really dissapointed with pipes on a shee
  21. im putting a timing plate on in the morning and i have a question, to advance it by 4 degrees do i line up the number 4 line on the timing plate to the line on the block or do i line up the the line on the pickup coil to number 4 on the plate? thanks for any input
  22. Im thinking about milling my head, my mods will be pc pipes, air pods, and +4 timing, how much compression will be added? and how much more power will it make, im thinking about going .025 just for safe measures
  23. where did that come from? i was asking about a chain, not a banshee zx750, and if your quad wants some, then i have an 06 600rr or a lt1z28 that will put it in its place
  24. do i need a longer chain for the 15t gear? i have one on the way right now and i totally forgot about the chain
  25. thanks guys, i did some ordering on rockymt and magic racing, im getting the stator plate off ebay for 35 bucks compared to 90 or so at some other websites
