I think the majority of people run 32:1.I run it in my alky and when i was running race fuel.The last thing you wanna do is try leaning out your oil/fuel mix because your jetting/carbs are fucked up.I would raise the clips on the needles one notch and go from their.If you have to raise that fucker all the way up till it runs right then go for it but i'll put money on it that your mix ratio isn't the problem.
  2. My cylinders are currently on a 70mm bore.I'm not sure of how many bores can be done but mine seem to still have a lot of sleeve wall left

I've got so many cans that say mix on them and cans that don't.i've been through hell and back trying to figure out which ones i've mixed because i was in a hurry and just grabbed any can.I finally said fuck it and i run 32:1 super techniplate in all my shit. Some things smoke a little bit more than others but at least i know the rings are getting oiled And i finished all that and just now noticed this is about turbo blue...now i'm the idiot :shoothead: .I have nothing usefull to say on this subject..carry on
  4. whatever your pilot is at go down one size.how many turns out are the air screws? try turning them in a half at a time till it feels right

I need a cheap swing arm.Father in law is tired of having to sit on his handlebars to be able to pin the throttle,dude's almost 60 he doesn't wanna break his back :cool: .Something cheap preferably,he's just gonna sand it down and repaint it anyways.I've seen the ebay ones but he doesn't wanna pay that much.Oh and a brake line for it if ya got one.
  6. what kind of oil are we talking here? Oil mix being on the threads/plug is normal.How rich are you jetting or mixing?

Noooo do not use a 3 jaw puller.That will for sure throw your shit out of wack and will lose magnification.Go to your local yamaha shop and buy the flywheel puller.It's 13 bucks.As far as shortened out,probably not.Like 2001Stroker said, check the gasket on the stator cover and all that.I even use a thin layer of gasket sealent to be sure i don't get water in my cover.you're correct on the clutch cover side,oil filled with no electronics.Good luck
  9. Them kinda do look like stock chrome pipes...PT pipes whether the highs or the mids are longer where the silencer would meet up...basically the head pipe and the silencer would meet up right about where the carbs are
  10. Hmm, sounds like a pretty interesting weekend..beer,fun,drag racing.I'm not so sure about the AMA registering for 50 bucks though but could be a good weekend regardless.No cash winnings along with trophies? Keep us posted on the class sizes and all.
  11. The dome size in cc is your choice.lower dome size higher compression.I thought custom cut domes were cut to bore size,stroke and piston type with crown angle and of course the cc depending on customers needs?
  12. I run a set right now with my 4 mill.for the price i got my set up at i couldn't pass it up.i parted my stock cylinder drag port cylinders and coolhead and bought the whole drag ported top end with the blaster pistons But i like em,strokg running cylinder imo
  13. Just turn them in or out and listen.My guess is that you need to idle it up? If you can't get it by the screws on top of the tors just tighten the cable slack at the throttle lever up.

  16. Turn your air screws in half turn at a time till it feels right or drop down a size on the pilot and start over.The dime size flathead screws on top of that shit you call tors is your idle adjustment..
