  1. Both plugs are black and wet. Spark looks good. starts within 1 to 2 kicks with choke on in 30deg weather, you can turn choke off within 10 seconds and the bike idels fine when cold. I rode it for about 2 hours and it fouled one plug about 10 minutes the other plug fouled too. It's either way rich or not burning all the fuel. I am afraid to go much leaner on the main, thats why I was thinking mabe electrical. eric btw i am running stock gearing 14/41
  2. Pull the pilot jets out of your carbs and clean them. They have real small holes the old gas could have stoped them up.
  3. Compression is 120lbs both cylinders, fresh gas tried 94 and 106 octane, tried 32-1 and 40-1 mix, klotz black lable and super technoplate. Engine was supposed to be fresh bore 20 over when I got it, about 10 to 12 hours max on engine. Didn't notice any probs until I switched from a 12 tooth front sproket that was on the bike to a stock 14 tooth. eric
  4. I have a strange problem with a shee I bought. It wants to run rich all the time, and it takes a few seconds to get on the pipe. When I first got it, it had dual 28mm carbs and rad valves, went from 270 mains down to 200's still to rich, than I changed to a single 35mm and to fmf ram valves. Started out at 170 main went down to 157 still rich also advanced timming 4 deg. No change still hard to get on the pipe, plugs are BLACK, it will backfire if you rev it out hard when you shift, top of 4th thru 6th is doggy and it pours out smoke. I am going to change the entire electrical system piece by piece to try and find the problem. :: Anybody else ever had this kind of problem? eric
