    A blaster piston on a 5mm longrod crank will be .040 or 1mm down in the bore a tdc. If you dont have a spacer plate it might be a longrod crank not a 4mm stroker. A piston .040 down will have real low cranking compresson.

    Check your intake boots for cracks. My 01 cracked and it ran all kinds of stupid. It wouldnt idle than it would it surged than ran fine. ::

    I think he is talking about boost ports drilled from the intake port into the transfer ports on each side.

    If it is used make sure the cintrifical clutch is not stuck. I bought a used one and the clutch was rusted and it wouldnt pull till you picked it up.
