I just bought this bike it is 20 over 18cc domes in coolhead,32:1 premix race gas,28mm flatslide mikuni carbs,jetting is 270 main 30 pilots,fmf fattys,prodesign proflo kit with no lid,boost bottle,elevation is 600 ft. The problem is will load up and almost flood itself out after about 3 minutes of runtime.It starts on first kick and idles fine maby a little rich.If you try to ride it you can get about 50 feet then it starts flooding and wont rev.The carbs are clean and the needles are 5L in the middle clip. Any and all help appricated. BTW i have jetted a few banshees but this one is driving me nuts. ::

i also have a 01 raptor plus three banshee,s guess which i like more. i stretched the raptor 4 inches different bike now also 740 bigbore

:: i just bought a used 87 shee. it has 28mm flatslide mikunis 30 pilots 270 main jets,20 over bore,coolhead with 18cc domes,radvalve with two stage reeds,and fmf fattys. The problem is after the bike starts on the first kick,it takes gas fine until you ride it for about 1 minute,than it starts loading up and wont rev.When i first got the bike it had a bad bog at 1/4 throttle,i changed the needles too a thiner ones,the bog whent away but the rich condition got worse.Any ideas?

just bought a shee with a 12 tooth front had to shift a lot wanted to pull the wheels a lot switched back to 14 tooth alot more controable and fun to ride

will the needles out of stock carbs work in 30mm flat slide mikunis and what are the needle tip and taper options for these carbs

when your carb top came lose it could have caused the right side to leanout that would have melted your piston

love my nerfs have them on two banshees and a raptor all i ride is hilly rockey and some woods
