The one I saw had no throttle response.when you got in the powerband it ran good.

Check the claw adjustment like bigboy said also check to make sure the points on the claw are not rounded.

You need a flywheel puller,e-bay for 10 or 12 bucks.A jaw puller will tear up your flywheel.Use the case parting lines as your timming mark. -
