  1. I use Swain Tech to coat pistons. Have them in my Banshee and Raptor.
  2. I got my filters and the short heat wrap from Cascade . Make sure you let them know you want 10degree angled filters or you might end up with20's.
  3. I run 10 deg 6" pods with CPI's PWK33's, and a one piece billet intake. Once you see where they are rubbing next time you clean the filters clean them real well to remove oil. Then use a little black ultra rtv to seal up that area and to make a rubber pad so they wont wear through any more.
  4. I bought a nice new thumb throttle from a guy who put a twist throttle on his new banshee. Let us know how the twist works out. Most people who put a twist on either don't ride in rough terrain or they put the thumb throttle back on.
  5. Yea 300 for a whole month to figure out a coil wire issue, and a bent rod. That's the shop you trusted to for the build.
  6. I was kidding. Honestly if they were mine I wouldn't have PC'ed the cases. They look worse than bare aluminum when they are all dirty.
  7. That would break the budget.
  8. Id just put it together as is and make sure to use lots of 3bond / yamabond.
  9. Yea but the banshee uses reeds. They are the mechanical seals that allows the crank case to pressurize. The idea of the windows is to allow the engine to begin to pull air and fuel in to the crank case from the time the piston starts to go up instead of waiting for the skirts to clear the intake ports.
  10. At this point I would pass on the cheap cast plates in favor of a billet plate. I have a Pro Design in mine but it was before you really had choices on which billet plate you wanted to run.
  11. Id check out Jeff at FAST. www.farmandsandtoys.com
  12. Usually on carbureted vehicles if you have to hold the throttle wide open its flooded. The extra air helps lean the mixture enough that it will start. Since the motor isn't running its really not pulling in enough air to cause fuel to draw up through the main jet while starting with the throttle wide open.
  13. Chain them together and disk locks so they cant roll it away.
  14. I am going to give building an AR a shot. I though about that lower but I decided to try their new Gen 2 billet lower. I know I could have saved a bunch going with a forged lower but the billet one looks better. Gen 2 Lower http://www.spikestactical.com/spikes-tactical-billet-lower-gen-2-p-1203.html
  15. I had a set of ITP Blackwaters in a 20x11or12x8. They did good in the sand but we're on the heavy side. I ended up selling them. Wish I didn't because they are no longer made.
  16. Beats the he'll out of a Wang Crank and Wang Rods.
  17. Mix some benol in and you will have another quart of Super Techniplate.
  18. Cause its cheap and non reloadable. Most new gun owners start out with a .22LR and the last talk of gun bans drove up new gun ownership. Paranoid people feel the need to have 25k rounds of 22 in the closet, and they think the last box sitting on the shelf could be the last one they will ever buy.
  19. SuperTechniplate is %80 Original Techniplate 20% Benol Caster Oil. Original Techniplate Is 100% Techniplate. They mix fine.
