  1. Maybe your old tires were built better and had a more uniform construction.
  2. I am just on my phone and can't seem to see the triple port, nor does it look like the out side of the cylinder has been built up for the triple port. If I was spending the cash for a 7mm motor I would just go with a 10mm since you have to trench the cases ethire way.
  3. Why not a tire knife? Pretty much a sharp gasket scraper on a soldiering iron.
  4. Id probably put the fuel tank cover back on.
  5. Id take one with the Supercharged 5.8 and manual 6 speed.
  6. Looks like the guys at Ford SVT are bringing the Bronco back as the F150 Raptor comes to an end for 2015 http://www.fourwheeler.com/news/1404-2016-ford-svt-bronco-coming-soon/
  7. Flush and fill it a couple of times with cheap transmission fluid. Stop driving it until you can do the flush. An ez flush system is a hose and a 5 gallon bucket. Mark the bucket in quart increments. Remove the top cooler line and put the hose on it. Fire the vehicle up and let it pump transmssion fluid out the hose and in to the bucket. Pour transmission fluid in through the dip stick at the same rate that its being pumped out. I would probably drop the pan first so you can get as much of the contamination out before you start flushing. I would wait to put on a new filter until your done flushing as well.
  8. If your wanting to upgrade the stock shock then I would do a Race Tech Gold valve. I was going to go this way on my raptor, but I bit the bullet and got an Elka Stage 3 and Long Travel linkage.
  9. Here is some shots from the maiden range trip after I sited it in. 40 rounds shot at each target. The indoor range is only 25 yards so I couldn't shoot any farther.
  10. Thanks man. It did get some looks when I took it to the range.
  11. I would check the clutch basket out to make sure the coushins are not shot. Hold the basket in one hand and try turning the gear on the back with the other. If there is play then its shot. Most of the time guys get a billet basket and bolt on the old gear.
  12. Or that's just how GBC makes them.
  13. Kidd sells their parts directly. They don't have any distributors, and their shipping charges are real reasonable if you just want to buy a piece here and there. www.coolguyguns.com The stock was purchased from Stocky's Stocks. It is the Eliminator 10/22 stock and is only avalable for the larger .920 bull barrels. They dont make it for the regular diameter barrels. If you not using a scope the Revolution Tundra stock is supose to still be able to be used with open sights. Most target stocks have to high of a check pad to use open sights. http://www.stockysstocks.com/servlet/Categories Nikon Pro Staff Rimfire 3-9x40 BDC scope was purcahsed from the local sporting goods store Warne Maxima low height 1" quick detach rings were purchased from Midway USA. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/216902/warne-1-maxima-quick-detachable-weaver-style-rings-matte-low?cm_vc=ProductFinding
  14. Thought I would post up some pics of my Kidd 10/22. I was going to have the barrel blackend but it looks pretty good in polished stainless Kidd parts used: 16.5 fluted, threaded, polished stainless barrel Single stage trigger set at 1.5 lbs Receiver with 0 MOA base Threaded receiver pins V block Black scalloped bolt Stainless charging handle with standard spring Bolt buffer Extended mag release Stainless take down screw Stock: Revolution Eliminator RH, cobalt, gloss finish Scope: Nikon Pro Staff Rimfire 3-9x40 with BDC reticle Warne Scope rings. Quick detach, 1" tube, low height, matte finish Ruger parts used: BX-1 clear mag, 10 round BX-25 black mag, 25 round
  15. I would have went with 3 4mill Hot Rods cranks from Jeff at FAST.
  16. If I was loco I would try to sell 8 sets so I could get mine for free.
  17. Unless he is a bigger guy and prefers how a heavier flywheel launches, or rides tight trails. Id buy a heaver flywheel if they were made, and made as OEM Yamaha quality. Id pass on anything junk from china.
  18. I got all my parts and put it together tonight. Looks pretty good. I am going to leave the barrel polished stainless. I will post up some pics once I get the scope mounted. I have a Nikon 3-9x40 Pro Staff Rimfire scope. Waiting on the rings. I went with low matte Warne Maxima Quick Detach Rings.
  19. Nice looking .22. I havent ever really had super nice 10/22. They have been run of the mill all stock rugers. I already ordered the reciever. I didnt really think about the machined on vs. bolt on rail. I will have to see how it goes. I am not going to be doing competions. Its going to end up being a way over kill plinking gun. That stock is pretty much the one I am getting only its going to be blue and not hollewed out behind the thumb hole.
  20. I had a T.D. on order and started buying hop up parts for it. It got to the point where the only thing I was going to be using was the Ruger reciever and barrel. It was talking a while to get in so I ended up calling and canceling the order. I figured that I had just as well get a reciver and a barrel and build it my self. I didnt really need a 22 that breaks in two.
  21. Yea they do. Here is a link http://www.coolguyguns.com/Classic-Ruger-10-22-Receiver_p_18.html
  22. I am currently in the process of building a 10/22. It is going to be all Tony Kidd parts. (www.coolguyguns.com). Black anodized single stage trigger, black anodized receiver with 0 MOA scope base, black scalloped bolt, Stocky's Eliminator Cobalt Blue laminated stock (might go for a black Hogue). The barrel is going to be a Kidd polished fluted threaded stainless steel barrel. I have been thinking about having it blackened. What are my options? I was thinking about going with a Black Nitride finish. It is a hot salt bath that actually makes the barrel surface harder which is suppose to preserve the hand lapped bore finish. H&M Metal Processing is who I was looking at having it done by. They said the barrel would be $100 bucks but they have a minimum order of $200. I though about sending the bolt in and having it done as well.
  23. Klotz R50 because it is just as good as Super Techniplate but it doesn't dry out and gum up when it sits. I don't ride a whole lot and when I would get my banshee out of storage running Super Techniplate there would be a little gum in the carbs. Its just the caster oil that has dried out. It also doesn't burn as dirty as Super Techniplate. Caster oil is a great lubercating oil but it does burn dirty.
