  1. It is a stock rod length motor. 513 Series is for stock rods If it was a long rod it would say 795m6650 Looks like your banshee is on its last bore too. Better be finding some replacement jugs. josh
  2. What is the number stamped on the top of the pistons?
  3. What color do you want? I got my OEM's from Yamaha of Troy on ebay. If you want black you can get 2006 LE plastic and it will have some silver metal flake in the plastic.
  4. So when you cc' a dome you dont figure in the space that the piston crown takes up. Your just measure the total volume of the dome correct?
  5. With the noss head your buying great customer service too.
  6. dont hold the camra so close. Use the zoom to get good pics.
  7. Use a C clamp to push the piston back in.
  8. Here you go for the bolts. Stainless Allen Head Bolts for the Clutch Cover, Stator Cover, and Reed Cage 16 bucks free shipping. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/YAMAHA-BANS...emZ320287043857
  9. That is where it was gettin in on mine. I also drilled a couple small holes in the bottom of the stator cover so it can drain out.
  10. Yea but he is still going to be running Small Bore domes when he should be running big bore. The O ring is moved out farther so it is less prone to leaking with the bigger bores.
  11. I would make sure you measuer your cylinders. If your running cast pistons and swaping them for forged they might have different piston to cylinder clearances. josh
  12. I just eyeball it. You will know if it is rich or lean once you get a couple sets chopped. I run mine for about .5 mi wot to make sure I get a good chop. josh
  13. I run PWK33's on my mods in my sig. I dont stricty drag race so I went on the small side. It runs fine. josh
  14. What elevation above sea level do you ride at? Do you want to run $8 dollar a gallon race fuel or do you want to be able to run premiump fuel from the gas station You put domes in for running race fuel and put premium pump fuel in you will melt your motor down.
  15. 110 octane is the yellow number on the gas pump. It is a rating on how much the fuel resists preignition. Regular fuel is 87 octane Premium fuel is 91-93 octane Race fuel ranges any were from 105 to 118 Premix is what is called when you have your oil mixed with your fuel. The oil is Premixed in the gasoline vs having an oil injector and just putting regular non mixed oil in the tank.
  16. You got to take the studs out when you bore the jugs any way. It really isnt that big of a deal. I would deffinatly stick with a head that use pd style domes. Having to get dome from one company like trinity is going to make you pay more.
  17. Well I got to thinking, with blaster pistons you should be running big bore domes as well. They have a different groove for the O ring to set in, it is a little farther out. 66mm to 68.5 bore needs big bore domes. So you might have sealing problems. josh
  18. Yea I just run 573 series pistons.
  19. I wouldnt talk to trinity. They couldnt send me 2 same spark arrestors. Couldnt imagine dealing with them on engine parts. Call david noss at noss machine. Tell him what your doing and he would probably tell you what angle to cut your domes at. I believe my blaster piston domes were 75 bucks shipped from him if I remeber right.
  20. The flanges that your going to cut off the trinity pipes are going to cost you at least 200 bucks (figurning in the loss in resale value of the trinity pipes). I dont see you being able to sell a set of trinity stainless steel pipes with mild steel flanges welded on. They will look different and eventualy rust. Yea you will be able to sell them but you wont get near as much as you would if you left them alone. PM Frogger on here. He can get you a good deal on CPI's. See what he can do for you. I have seen him selling bran new chrome cpi's at really good prices. If you need them cheap then have him do a price check on bare steel.
  21. Where you been hiding at? I thought you already got a set of CPI's? josh
  22. I dont see why you couldnt. I would just buy big bore big flang cpi's. You will probably ruin the chrome on the cpi's. I doubt you will get as much out of the trinitys with welded on flanges. Why would some buy choped up pipes when can get trinity's that arnt hacked up and re welded.
  23. You wont notice a temp difference between heads. josh
  24. no I was just thing how you could do it with out going through all the hoops.
  25. I thought that 87 and 88 had the J arms and 89 and up had A arms. Then some where aound 89-91 they had the goofy rear wheel bolt pattern. 4x156 ( same as the front). 2001 and newer bansehee's have a larger rear light. The light is a tail light and a brake light. the older shee's just have a small light that only comes on when you turn the head lights on no brake light.
