i agree on him with everthing but the 2into 1 carbs. because the two into one carb setup gives it a moreharsh powerband and will wear you out faster. but almost everyone you talk to will tell you that the best mx pipes for a banshee is the paul tuners mids and the 250r geometry in the way to go. but motor wise, the banshee has alot of power but the thing is to get it smoother and more useble power. you want to work on your suspension befor anything, and there are so many good shocks and a arms out there its hard to go wrong with any of them. just look around and if you need any help just ask thepeople ion this site there very good with this stuff. i have heard that theres not much of a difference but just extra travel. but its not needed for trail riding. but i mean that is cheap for a long travel kit. but on the trails you could go with a standard travel a arms. but hey are you in the coast guard?

i wouldnt just look at one brand for suspension because there are so many good brands out there but, im looking at an janssen add in a dirt wheels and i see a long travle kit starting at $1380you might want to check them out and you can k&k's web site and they have good deals. but be open to any kind of shocks and a arms.

well here is my work in progress. its a 88 and as of now its in peaces. but here are some pics of it befor i took it apart begging of last summer after i got my beadlocks im getting new front rims and tires to match the backs.so it wont look like that for long. but there are some damn nice bansheeson here and after seeing them i look at mine a whole nother way.

in dirtwheels they tested two dune yfz450's one was stock width and the other was +3. they both had after market shocks and a arms. and they said the stock width yfz handled way better than the +3 bike. i guess it would be harder to turn a bike so wide.

i hope your going to jump that thing. my friend has a red ski doo 500 its like an 05 and you can launch that thing and it lands so smooth. and thats on stock shocks. but that is a damn nice sled :thumbsup:

i only put my kendas up to 10psi to do doughnuts and slid the corners on the road befor i got my new rims and tires. but now i run 5psi in the mxr6's.

your sproket and rotor will be fine if you run on an mx trakc with out a skidplate, the only time they will hit the dirt is in the corners and that only if there rudded out. but most of the tracks dont have big enough rocks to do any major damage to a rotor. i have been running MX for the past two years and have never had to replace a rotor or a sproket to rock related damage. i have a sent with blue shock covers for 50+ shiping.

its like 10 to 15 psi to seat the bead. i run my mxr6's at 5 to 5 1/2 psi and it gives them a nice flat profile.

i have a 88 in great condition i would like to trade. let me know. the mods are below.

the way me and my friend got used to jumping, is just build a decent jump and hit it a bunch of time without fixing the face. so as it wears out it will through you different ways and you have to pitch the bike, it realy helps alot.

look on the side of the tire. if you are running an 18" mx tire you should run 5psi.

do the a arms come with the frame?
