  2. No guys, my trinity 2 into 1 inake manifold. Not the reed cages, and not the cylinder intakes.
  3. So even though this is before the reed cages it still needs to be rough?
  4. Well guys, winter has hit and the ol' blue light special is getting some upgrades and changes. 1. Pro Circuit Pipes 2. Custom made Cascade CSFX Silencers 3. Intake match ported 4. Pwk 35 bored to 36mm 5. Match ported the reedcages to the intake Now, Question I have is whats your opinion on this: I took all the cnc cutting flaws out of the inside of my two into 1 trinity intake. I used the porting tool with a jewelers pink polishing stone to do it. Now would you leave the intake sort of rough? Or I was playing with the wire wheel on the porting tool and got it all smoth and polished out in this one area to see what its like. So rough or polished?
  5. You know I am kind of tired of everyone making dealerships and shops look like a bunch of money hungry pricks. The shop we ended up getting the axle from is one we have been going into for 14 years. I know the owner personally, hell he even calls me for advice from time to time. I just got a call from them 2 weeks ago cause they had a guy with a 2 into 1 pipe and he couldn't get the bike jetted right. So, yes I trust Ron at Bay area Yamaha in Coos Bay, OR. He is a honest and down to earth guy who wont bullshit you.
  6. whats the deal with the 80:1 amsoil? Thats way lean for any normal oil that I know about.
  7. Install avg free and then let it loose on it. If it is still there after that get super spyware removal tool. AVG Free
  8. Not if he is running amsoil at 80:1
  9. probably, also check the case arrow alignment when you put the cable and perch back on.
  10. trail tech makes an mr11 light, but there most popular one is the mr16. Mr11 and mr16 bulbs are offered in sizes from 20w to 100w, so they could be 55w bulbs.
  11. bump up the jets and see if it gets better. Or richen the needles. It sounds to me like its lean.
  12. If its an older one get rid of it, the arm travel on them is not long enough to fully disengage the clutch. Same issue we had with the one on the drag bike.
  13. the trail tech mr11's come with 35w bulbs, but if those are for a car you will have to remove the bulbs and verify it.
  14. Pro circuits are a torque pipe low-mid. T5 is a mid-top pipe. Not sure on the trinity pipes, but they look like power pros pipes and if that the case you can bet they work like shit.
  15. I have a woods bike and my cousin has a 4mill built by Dyno Dave. His bike has alot more arm pulling acceleration than mine. But I can catch him toward the top of a drag hill.
  16. I vote on lean jetting or lean upper throttle needle setting.
  17. The bike shops on the Oregfon coast told me they had issues with the g-force axles. So we bought a durablue when the lonestar broke and its been a pretty good axle.
  18. Well the fact that the 2 into 1 wont work is not ruled out in my mind yet. We have a 460cc 6mm cheetah motor running pro circuits with a 2 into 1 intake and a 38mm lectron on it. It made 92 hp on the crank dyno last weekend. It had a very nice looking torque curve also. Currently I took my carb off and saw some small flaws and mismatches inside my 2 into 1 intake, and I am in the process of cleaning it up. I got out the porting tools yesterday and started match porting it to my reed cages and even took a little material off the rubber boot. The inside of the intake has some cnc cuts that can also be smoothed out to help increase the intakes capable volume and general flow characteristics. If you want to do a dune port and would like a mid-top powerband then some good pipes to look at are the T5, SST (FMF), and supposedly?????? the Paul Turner mid-tops???? Now I dont know how the PTR mid-top pipes do, but we have a set of PTR midrangess on a 4 mill and it made power to 10,500 rpm. My Banshee with a 2 into 1 pipe makes power till 9k rpm. However, on that 460cc 6mill cheetah motor the PTR mids made 5 less hp than the pro circuits. So it is going to depend on your stroke, porting, compression, and the match up of all your parts. I tell you what though, I do a lot of bottom end type power stuff for the guys we ride with. It's priceless seeing the look on someones face when they ride their bike the first time. It almost bucks them off cause the bottom end acceleration is phenomenal.
  19. your gonna need to mic the inside of the carb neck that goes to the motor.
  20. You cant play ride your drag bike, so you will need to choose one or the other. We can get you more top end, but switching to a completely top end only pipe is a bit of a drastic step. There are other pipes suited for more top end than those, and will still offer some decent midrange power.
  21. Sometimes I wonder why the hell we have some of these conversations and questions. One, I dont think its a great idea to drive around at night with little to no lights on, someone can run into you or you can crash. Two, if you want them because your gonna outrun the cops, or only be riding with your group somewhere, then your a dork. You dont need stealth mode lighting, Done.
  22.
  23. just take the needle out and see what size it is.
  24. eek is richer than a dek 1/2 to 3/4 throttle. It sounds like your carb may have come from a set that were on a banshee, so it may have a cel needle in it.
  25. Did you put the magura on? Is it one of the older ones or a newer one?
