  1. Ive been on that list for a loooong time, Ive been trying to get my broken swing arm replaced since feb!!!
  2. hopefully this means i will be getting my replacement swingarm as well
  3. yeah good call, the vent hose was cracked, thats where the noise was coming from. thanks again.
  4. no dont connect the yellow to black. THe circuit is already complete. Each light is wired independently, aka in parallel. You do not want to connect the yellow to black, that would create a short
  5. yeah it sounds dumb but i really dont know what else to check. it is not smoking, and it is not low on fluid. and when I drained the oil i hadnt removed the filler cap yet. basically when I am draining or filling the transmission, I can hear air venting through the carbs
  6. I have a question, when I drain the oil out of my tranny, I can hear air through the carbs while it is draining. if that makes any sense. Is this normal? Ive never noticed it before but I have been having problems since I rebuilt my motor with making top end power. I am not burning trans fluid (that I know of) but am lost as to what is going on here. can anyone recall if this noise is normal or do I have a leak somewhere inside?
  7. I might have to check it out, im about 10 min from pismo. Ive been thinking about getting a bike for my wife and that thing is a deal, as long as its legit
  8. damn, i was hoping i could get these things on my bike before i go to glamis in a few weeks, oh well I guess it will have to wait until he gets back. Im still looking for some spacers whenever you get back brian
  9. is it the 56000 uf Capacitor? that is the bigger one on their website, or is there another one that I need to call about? thanks again
  10. No I havent, they are just the only place Ive heard of that makes a HID bulb that will fit in the stock lenses. And Ive heard pretty good things about their stuff and that its reliable and can take the abuse. Should I call nick direct? I havent done much searching yet as far as finding them and getting them for a decent price
  11. Hey guys, Im planning on running 2 HID lights on my bike and I dont really want to run a battery if i dont have to. I dont care about running lights when the bike is off. All I care about is reliably getting my HIDs to fire. I am going to run 2 vison x bulbs in my stock headlights. I know I would be better off with a different lense but I dont like the look of any other headlights that I have found. If anyone knows of some HID lights that are close to the size of the factory lenses I may be interested in those as well. But anyways, has anyone run a pair of HIDs off of a capacitor and which size would you recommend? If not what would be the smallest and lightest battery I could run? thanks
  12. do you have any sets available right now?
  13. Thanks for all the input guys. I do like my 2 into 1, but if I cant make it work with the single 35, then I will just buy another 35 and go back to duals instead of going with a bigger single, even though it is tempting but Id rather go with something more proven than experiment with it at this point. I would like to try the Paul Turners too but they seem to be way more expensive than everyone else, so because of that they are out as a possible choice since they are over $800 for them in chrome. So I guess my choice is whether or not to go with something like the CPI or something with more mid range and less top end. What about the Trinity exhaust? how would they compare to say the Pro Circuits and the T5s?
  14. Ok, I see what you are saying, so from what I have read, the rule of thumb on the stroker is about a 7% power increase and Id be looking at about $500 or so. And with the 4 mil crank a set of 35mm carbs would be the right size? Also I have a trinity head so hopefully they make domes that will work with the stroker. I would assume so. Also If I did wait and do a crank as well does it just drop in or does the case need to be modified for the longer stroke? Thanks for all the info
  15. What would you recommend then? It seems like the paul turners are a good pipe as well but I have heard that they are very expensive.
