  1. I buy the 100w equivelant flourescents. They draw 23-27 watts and are bright as hell. They also make great drop light bulbs.
  2. It comes with water in it. I suspect if you inspect the sensing bulb at the bottom you will find a hole.
  3. I would say it you did it super chunky it would be harder to clean. However since it is textured and black it will hide alot more dirt.
  4. If that was no to both questions, then dont worry about it, your fine.
  5. Thats pretty much how it works on the non vacuum actuated types like on aftermarket banshee cylinders. Look here=Powervalve function
  6. what oil do you want to use?
  7. Current aftermarket powervalve setups use bombardier powervalves. Its a giant red adjsuter screw with a spring underneath that sits on a slide that has a rubber diaphragm like a cv carb. Then the powervalve slides stick down into a cut out in the exhaust port. These are Rossier banshee cylinders. These are Bombardier 580 rotax cylinders. On the watercraft seadoos, they figured out how to make them vacuum actuated of a solenoid valve and engine vacuum. See the hoses of these ones in a seadoo.
  8. So an egt? I used to use an optak, but the damn things never worked right. So, I just switched over to a mechanical isspro egt gauge. Worked good.
  9. They have an external hd dvd drive for watching movies. I have played that moto storm game on ps3, it was cool.
  10. someone should figure out how to make some of those aftermarket power valve cylinders electronically actuated.
  11. That center one is what my stock pistons looked like when I tore mine apart to do my port job last winter.
  12. Does that gaufe require a 12v dc source, or a 12v ac source voltage? Does it require voltage to run at all? Or just a ground?
  13. I cannot live without xbox live. I also cant live without Halo, Ghost Recon, Call of Duty, and Battlefield 2.
  14. Stock stator is 130w, you need a battery to run a decent weatherproof fan. Doesn't really need a fan, no thermostats. ESR makes a good temp gauge, and Mr. Gasket came out with a temp gauge radiator cap. Its not as accurate, but you just add about 15-20 degrees to get the actual temp.
  15. I cant remember the stock bore size right now, what is it? They are unported correct?
  16. What is done to this bike with 15/41 gearing? What is it?
  17. Do you have an overflow bottle? Once the bike cools off, is the radiator low on fluid?
  18. Do you ever even see 5th and 6th gear?
  19. Hmmmmm. When I used to drag race back in the early 90's we didn't have 22x11x8 super lites then. So I had 20" haulers, gearing on my bike was 13/45. I launched in third and hit 5th before the end of the 100 yard or boxcar hill in Coos Bay and rode out the rest in 5th. So basically nowadays it seems to be better to run the lower gears with tall tires and tall gearing then? So, what are people running for play gearing and tire sizes on the small bikes like mini stroker or ported 350's?
  20. What size rear tires did you guys run. We run 22x11x8 super lites and having a 14 or 15 tooth front sprocket doesn't allow us to get all the way into 6th in the wide open spots out in the sand.
  21. THE ONLY THING A PS3 is good for, is it makes a cheap blu ray disc player!
  22. so basically it sort of eliminates drivetrain friction?
  23. I know how to wire in the battery. I even made a battery mount and used an odyssey pc 545 on my banshee. I used a reg/rec from a snowmobile company out of wisconsin. I personally run a 200w RS unit wth a lightened RS flywheel.
  24. Is there something that it does better when running like a 14/42 compared to a 13/45 (which is the same gearing ratio)????? Is it like a better torque transfer or something? I had a 14/46 on my bike, but I never got to use second gear climbing out of the nasty holes I like to do.
