  1. Geez if there isnt anything wrong with this motor, Thats a hell of a price Hope all goes well
  2. Thats weird I have never seen that before. How does it ride?? Could it be a long travel setup?
  3. I have SS brakelines on my shee. I havent been happy since day one with the way the brakelines run and rub on everything. I originally had brake line clamps on the a-arms and I wasnt happy with that, they still moved around and ruined the paint. Now i have some hose and zip ties holding them in place. It looks nice and neat but still not happy Which is the BEST way to route and mount your brake lines without and rubbing issues. I had a brakeline rub on a cotter pin on one of the a-arm bolts and caused it to break Some pics would be nice, I will be freshening up the shee and I do not want the brake lines rubber on any fresh paint or anything thats going to cause a problem. Thanks
  4. is the TORS still hooked up? Do you have the little crossover tube on the carbs? are you sure the slides are in the correct carb?
  5. Everyone is gonna have there opinions and different suggestions They are a thousands different thing you can do. So many options confuse the shit out of me so i know how you feel When i first went to a stroker motor, I ran bored stockers and the bike ran awesome. If money is tight, bore out the stockers I know a lot of guys that like a single carb setup for trail bikes also Its going to be preference. I think wether you stick with stockers or 30's you will be happy as long as its dialed in good good luck
  6. whats your location? Like stated above shipping is expensive If you are in the NY area I may be able to hook ya up. I have a few pairs laying around i could sell cheap.
  7. That looks pretty sweet Im stoked to see some pics installed on a bike Keep up the good work dude
  8. Man that motor is gonna look so FRESH inside that frame Awesome job
  9. Welcome to the HQ Do you have pics? I have someone looking for a shee Also has a 450r for trade
  10. Man you are nuts driving out there. Thats a long as drive, we where there last year for presidents week, Ur gonna have a blast. your first time?? The guy who organized our trip last year took care of the fuel but right from camp like 5 min ride where all the stores are there is a storage yard that sells it right there. Im not positive about the drumm but it shouldnt be a problem for ya.. How long is the drive? Man i wanna go sooo badd have a safe trip.
  11. welcome back dude So what did ya have some back troubles??
  12. I too have broke a swinger or 2 from the swingarm shop. Same thing, they broke around the tube where the shock mounts. I was on a trip in WV, had to take everything apart and was lucky enough that a old timer happened to be a AWESOME welder and he saved my trip. They did replace 2 that i have broke but it sucks having to been down and out. Stellar makes some awesome shit, Tim is gonna be building me some suspension components in the next few weeks. Get in touch with him, great guy and will guide you in the right direction. Good Luck
  13. Hey Red, considering you already did all the leg work and you got all the necessary info for the buyer. Thats a good price on a set of clean ported jugs. I know that porting pics don't mean much, but looks like the original porter/builder new what he was doing. Seems like it would be a nice grab for someone not looking to spend alot of money or wait 4 weeks to get there shit back. Good luck
  14. I think this is to broad of a question. You have to be more specific on what you are trying to accomplish here. I believe it will vary with conditions, tire size, mods etcc I have 21" razr in the front and run 6psi where we ride. I run 22's in the rear and run from 1-4psi The rear tires, even with 1psi they feel like 4. Are you spinning to much, are you hooking to hard, what kind of terrain do your ride, what are the conditions usually like?? I think you need to find what you and your bike like and just roll with it...
  15. What weight are they setup for? did you buy them new? why are you selling them?? thanks Joey
  16. babe you are like fresh meat on a site like this.

We all share the same addiction, its great

That being said, I think its only fair you post up pics of you and your shee so that the HQ can see what your working with......

  17. Bump Anyone looking for a strong running 4poker???
  18. Whats good Carl who bike is the 450r? Roman looking to trade his also, thats weird you posted this We where talking about u alittle while ago.. hahah thats funny shit, that we talking about the same bike Anyone who is interested, this 450 is a nice bike Its all black, It does have a kick start I dont think the front end is LT, but its a nice riding bike with lots of ground clearance. All the mods that Carl listed above where just done, everything in the motor is brand new. I dont think there is a hr on this motor yet. He's just looking to switch it up, and wants a shee. The bike is located in staten island NY, Its my buddies bike I think he is asking 4k obo also But if you have a shee that you willing to trade, post up some pics and all the details. Im trying to get some pics of this bike now.
  19. Im thinking about a set of LT arms for my shee. Let us kno how they work out for ya. What length are your shocks? Which shocks are ya running? Good luck
  20. What pipes/carbs where you running? Cpi's wont work right?? Where does the power shine with these cylinders?? thanks
  21. Thats a awesome price Some1 better scoup these up. Joey
  22. I would just bite the bullet, send the rear shock out and have it done. Its one of the best suspension mods i did to my shee. I used to have some sag, wasnt all that bad, but i figured while i was doing the front end i would just do it all at once. I sent mine to Works, in my opinion they did a great job, used all there parts, all new internals and a new spring. Rear shocks are expensive, the shee shock is a good shock so for like 350 bucks ya cant beat it Good luck
  23. I kno there are pros and cons to everything. And i do agree to make it as hard as possible. But i have to disagree with the anchors/expoxy and eyebolts We did this first in our garage, set about 4 of them. Let them dry over night, next day i took a hammer off the shelf, and smacked the shit out of the eyebolts to test them and they broke off fairly easy. Now i swing the hammer like a maniac but everyone has a hammer in there garage, i think its way to easy for any thief. Unless you can find big ass hardened steel anchors, than i would go that route. I bought all this shit from fastenel company, told me the eyebolts where hardened steel and there where absolutely not. So in my opinion and from experience, there are better ways to secure your bike Joey
  24. You should do what is needed to secure that side door first. They sell locks for the rotors and sprockets of the shee, or just put a big master lock through the rear sprocket. Use a quality chain/lock and lock it to something secure, maybe a concrete or steel support column. Go partners with you friend and alarm the garage. Also another option, this is what we did in our garage that we rent, cut 2x2 sq in the floor, set these and filled it back with cement. I use all kyrptonite chains also http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380195851349&rvr_id=&crlp=1_263602_263622&UA=M*S%3F&GUID=c66990981240a2367565ffd5ffeebfa1&itemid=380195851349&ff4=263602_263622#ht_3556wt_941 I dont know whats going on but the link isnt working, search Kryptonite Stronghold Anchor in google They are very good in my opinion, but like you stated nothing is 100% secure
