  2. thanks for all the help... sorry to jack the thread... I have had this problem for a year now and got no good answer until now!! One more question... I have drained the oil/coolant out.... tipped the bike sideways and put a cinderblock under the tires to drain more... how can I get the rest out, and how much do i have to remove before I can refill?? Can I use ATF to clean it???

  5. the grove your talkin about... would it be a grove around the shaft like this? cause mine is leaking... I replaced the seal and the o-ring.. Im guessing i have to get another impellor???
  6. I bought a vapor computer which I love! but I recently bought the bar clamps to mount two more lights on the bar, and now I dont have a place to put the computer! I know they sell clamps for the comp itself, and obviously clamps for light mounting, but I cannot find anything that has both!? anyone seen one? or does anyone have a mod they did to keep both? Thanks!

  9. could the coolant mixed with the gear oil make the clutch slip which would heat up the gear case?

  14. anyone have the same issue?? I replaced the seal behind the water pump bearing.... am I missing something? could the coolant be leaking in from somewhere else?
  15. whats the benefit of advancing past +4? I know the gains for the higher compression..
  16. if I put in smaller cc domes, then advance the timing, wouldnt I have to run higher octaine anyway? I gotta check my compression... I might have some room to go on my domes..

  21. ok.. my pads still have the groves in them.. I took off the clutch plate and there was some coolant in there.. I think it must have gotten in there when it heated up.. the oil was thick like cold syrup and Im in 60degree weather.. I think it is leaking in the metal tube that is connected to the coolant tube... it is a new o-ring, but this has to be it? any suggestions?... thanks..
  22. I have my timing advanced +4 now and wanted to know how much farther I can go with my current mods? or what gains there are to advancing it more? any danger?
  23. I was looking at those also.. I do about half dune half trail.... any gains from using it over stock?
  24. dude just get the vapor computer from trail tech..$100 and you get a whole bunch of other functions... That temp guage is $80 right?!!!
