my buddy just did a top end build (and crank) on his shee. his bike always ran strong but after his rebuild it wont pull 2nd and he says it feels like it doesnt have any top end. he has--50 over bore-k&n pods-stock carbs "370 jets" -timing plate "+4"-lightened fly wheel-shaved head "30 thous"-F.A.S.T. clutch. when we first took it out it felt like the clutch was going south,he ordered 1 from jeff and he said his old one didnt look bad, put new one in and it ran alittle better but still weak. his compression is 165... ive been trying to brain storm but cant really come up with anything. he just rebuilt it !! any thought would be great !!

there is suppose to be a group of people from texarkana going this sunday. i was up there 3 weeks ago and the sand bar was still pretty rough... trying to do some drag racing but i could barely get in 4th before i had to shut it down(start in 2nd).

man that really sucks !!!! hope he gets better !! your a good friend for taking care of his bussiness for him !! sending you a p.m about the pipes...... tell him we hope he gets better .

i bought a set for my rebuild last year and the ring gap seemed really big, called owner and he said that it was ok and he runs them in his. i have a thread some where on here about it. since i had a port job done i didnt take a chance on it, i still have the pistons and rings........ they are 40 over ill sell them cheap if somebody wants to try them.

badassbanshee479 has a set of 11 paddle sls for sell for 300 plus wheels----- 2bzy2p has a set of 12 paddle with wheels for 370 shipped. look in for sell section.

does it say hot rod on the rods ?? if so you know its not a stock (yam) crank .....
