I had a stud come loose and it was lifting the cylinders a bit and leaking around the base gasket.

D&M can build a motor, no doubt. Update: Just found out why my bike was running like pooo, getting hot and going into deto... Went to purge it today.. wouldn't fire... Heard a clicking sound from the flywheel.. First thing I thought of was Tylers bike. Take off the flywheel cover and my damn stator plate came loose. Thing was running at max timing! lol So I had a slight air leak along with extreme timing all weekend.. lol Damn.. now I wonder what it could have done with the plate set at the right timing and no air leak.. lol

all super cubs (72 and 73mm) use standard banshee cages. (4 bolt) If you see 6 bolts.. its a cheetah or its been modified. I agree Tim, You could sit here and argue till your blue in the face.. it wont prove anything. Only real way to tell what bike is faster would be something a lil more organized. A track would be ideal. but.. thats not going to be likely.. lol Why does it matter which bike is faster anyways? what it really boils down to is who's got the deeper pockets and who can ride better. You put both together and its untouchable. We're out there to have fun and ride! I was talking shit with Todd.. but it was all in good fun and we both knew that. I wont talk shit to people I dont know since some people take this stuff way to seriously.. Preech on brotha! I agree 100% I prefer to build my own..so I know what parts are in there and what isn't.. BUT.. If I can come across a turn key that has everything in it that I want.. and save me 2-3k.. Thats a no brainer!!!

was the crank in the supercub a big pin? usually they only use epoxy for the big pin/120 rod cranks.

how big do you plan to go? a PD cool head can fit a 68mm dome. TTT for a nice head.

must be going bigger then a cub if your offing the head. Hope you dont go too big and regret it like alot of us.. lol TTT for a nice head!
