  1. I'm usually on from 8-10 till i go to work around 4:30 ish.. then I'm back on when I get home around 11 or 12 untill I go to bed around 2-3. Sooo.. I log my share of hours. lol
  2. I agree Cam.. it would have to be like a TNT session. I would have towed the drag around.. but everyone told me my truck wouldn't make it in the dunes. I think I would have gotten around fine out there.. it was the same as our dunes.
  3. yah, If we could get somethign to drag the stip with that would be the ticket.
  4. exactly..
  5. All you do is run fuel into the pump.. then depending on what model pump you get.. you either run one line to your carbs with a T.. or 2 lines (one to each) then the pulse line.
  6. Cam, what we do here is a "dune shootout" what this means is that the bike has to be fully suspended and no wheelie bar.. Just like you would ride it in the dunes. If you have to cool down.. then you miss your spot inline.. When we rent tracks here we usually get about 20-25 passes each in 4hrs. 95% of the HQ'ers goin arn't going to have a rigid.. so to let a bunch of rigids on the track that are not HQ members wouldn't be fair if this track is getting rented by the HQ. Sooo.. in short. If there is going to be a track rental.. I say.. "dune shootout" for HQ members only. Also.. to anyone who attends the track.. Leave the BS drama at home.. It takes the fun out of it for everyone. "my bike is faster then your bike.. blah blah blah..." WTFC.... just ride and have fun.
  7. what fun is a race bike if there is no one there to race? I'd hate to go ride and only have 2 bikes to race. I like my high traffic area's.. LS was a blast last year. Saturday nite they had to be running 20 wide.. I loved it!
  8. we dont use anything smaller then 39's on the cubs.. Is it worth the money? depends on what you do with it I guess. If it were me.. I'd put 39's on there.. but.. i'm a drag racer and want every bit available.
  9. Tyler just posted the Dates for the Fall Little Sahara HQ ride. Its Oct 6th-9th. I say we get a big group together and head down. I went last year and it was a blast! If we start planning now we can can figure a way to get everyones bikes down. My cousins uncle owns a trucking company and we can probably get a good deal on having them shipped down. So that may be a option.
  10. I got it marked on the calendar. I'm working on getting our crew from MI down there this year.. should be about 12-15 strong. My cousins Uncle owns a trucking company. May give us one hell of a deal to ship the bikes down. So if anyone from MI intrested in that.. Shoot me a PM so I can start getting prices and what not.
  11. What about the bikes that dont even use silencers let alone packing..? lol You know how much shit me and JD caught down there because we had silenced drag pipes? lol
  12. Some dyno's can differ as much as 15% from one to the next.. Make the trip.. I drove 28hrs for the HQ ride last year.
  13. Just FYI, You should have worded the title different so that when the "newbs" try a search like so many people tell them.. it'll actually come up in a search and be usefull.
  14. John The trip in July is perfect for a HQ ride. Thats the same weekend we did last year and got a huge turn out! Maybe we could schedule a track rental 12-4 or something like that on friday. Them are all good Dates. But..Should move the June trip back a week for my B-day though.. lol I live about 20min from Bull Gap. I dont ride there much though. The hill just isn't what it used to be and for some of us its a suicide run. lol Damian. Let me know what weekends you pick and I'll make some arrange ments too. If we can get everyone on the same page.. we'll have some good turnouts on off holiday weekends.
  15. where do you race??
  16. Get with Stellar.. But.. IMO... the weight saving wouldn't be enough to justify the price tag.. for what you'll probably have in the swinger and arms.. you could do a full chassis and weigh less for probably close to the same price. either way.. Talk with Tim @ Stellar and he'll answer your questions.
  17. Wouldn't think twice about doing business with him... Honest seller.
  18. If you happen to decide to part it.. I might be interested in the topend. TTT for a nice bike!!
  19. did I miss what size swinger was being used? Sandtoyz is where I bought ours. I was running low 4.1's with no bar and I was 220's on a stock chassis. I was using 13 extremes, +12 swinger. 12.25 rear shaw w/link and 12.5 front shaws. 18" front tires. Like I said.. chassis setup plays a huge part.
  20. Chassis setup will play ALOT into paddle selection also 12-14 extremes in a 72-73 RO depending on chassis setup.
  21. Yup.. Its nice that HQ has a site sponsor that does shock work agian. Its been a long time coming for sure! Glad to have you on board Matt. Matt Did my shocks and I was 110% happy with them. Turn around time couldn't be better and he does great work. Best combo to have right there.
  22. The turbine core silencers are USFS approved spark arrestors.. it isn't built into the endcap.. its a 2 chamber system or somethign like that. Its actually part of the silencer construction. EDIT: this is off of FMF's site Our best selling Turbinecore 2 uses the exclusive "Turbine Dampening System". This top-notch product has well earned its U.S. Forest legal status. The straight through design of the spark arrestor canister and the performance flow stainless steel end cap ensures strength, durability and most importantly, track and trail proven unrestricted power. The Turbinecore 2 is the #1 spark arrestor in the world
  23. You need to get yourself a RV! lol
