  1. I used a screw driver and a hammer to get the retainer out.. after that I used a bearing driver to push out the bearing and seal... Socket would work too.
  2. The guy was really cool about it.. He said he gets alot of people that use window screen and try to get through. But he said they can tell by looking at it if its USFS approved or not. I told him about other officers giving guys a hard time using the alba kit (BansheeDan) he said that if anyone says that its no good to tell him that (forget his name) said it was ok. I wish i could remember his name.. It starts with a D. I'll find out his name and post it... I'm sure my cousin knows it..
  3. Not yet.. Dan called me saturday and said he should have some money this week.. I'm gonna give him to the end of the week and then I'll give him a call and see whats going down.
  4. I thought I heard of a motor with twin Saber cylinders?
  5. You can use the alba screens.. Me and BansheeDan have both made them work. You have to cut them to fit. I've put them in a set of sheerers and Dan put them on his T5's The screen is USFS approved and will pass in silver lake. I had a lengthy discussion with the Head Officer (DNR) on my last trip out. 1 kit is enough to do 2 silencers.
  6. I dont have them screws on my 39 pwks gas carbs either..
  7. stock springs usually greenish and like NYUK said, they have a small spot market with yellow paint. My old barnett springs were gold.
  8. I'll probably get a used LT80 for my boys next year.
  9. Damn... I wanted those grips too! lol Is this extra parts you had or are you parting your bike?
  10. You have to drill the dump tubes for alky. On the keihin carbs the dump tubes are not replaceable. So once you drill them.. thats what you got. If you switched it back to gas it would run super rich. Mikuni's on the other hand the dump tube is replaceable and if you wanted to go back to gas, all you would need is to buy a new dump tube.
  11. Bought my hoses from RMATV for 89.00 Fit was perfect!!
  12. You know Dave... its not that bad.. Cuz now we'll know how much bigger we'll have to go next year! lol
  13. I'm not really sure about the "dial-a-jet" but the Powerjet's are for the main circuit only.. I wouldn't recommend them as a substitue for jetting.. The powerjets only feed fuel at higher RPM's. You'll still need to adjust your needle or you'll run the risk of burning down your motor.
  14. OOF's are usually good for 2-5 more HP. I was told there wasn't any HP difference from silenced to unsilenced. Just going by what I heard
  15. I'm not much of a college football guy.. But didn't Plexico Burress and Amani Toomer play for U of M too?
  16. I found a use for my key relocation plate.. I imagine you could fab up another bracket and it'd work.
  17. You might have caught him on his 420 break.. maybe thats why u got such a good deal!!! J/k Dan!
  18. I know Badassbanshee479 had a set of 11 sls extreme's that he was selling.. Dont know if he sold them yet or not.. Send him a PM.
  19. Most of the aluminum tanks I've seen are smaller then stock. Mine is only about 2 gal or so. Might want to check into the IMS tanks.
  20. Giants.. 64 points
  21. They make nice purge tanks.
  22. Never had a reason to switch plugs.. I can get NGK just about anywhere and they're only 2.50 ea.
  23. I was just gonna say check the pickup coil gap.
  24. Laeger makes a good set of arms at a reasoable price... Think I saw the front kit for 450 somewhere.. can't remeber off hand.. I was looking into a set from them for my 450.
