  1. If your still using a air box then it runs down the clutch side of the bike and the air box has some retainers to help hold the wires in place. Other then that.. run it how ever you want to make it look the want.

  11. When I bought my beat up banshee I went through the clutch and it had a broken spring (stock). The only springs I use are Toomey springs.

  14. That sucks dude... Glad you didn't get hurt. I'm always worried about that shit happening to me in our dunes. When we get too many bikes running I usually stop racing. When I'm done with the run I pretty much come to a stop and look around before I turn. I like to think I'm cautious when it comes to stuff like that.. but.. I still managed to get my hand smashed at work even though I was being carefully.. Just goes to show ya that shit happens no matter what. :shrug: what can ya do.. its all part of the game and its inevitable..
  15. not to mention the fan would only be usefull if the machine wasn't moving or moving fast enough to get air through the radiator.. (who rides a banshee slow anyway?) Lighting upgrades isn't a bad idea if you ride at night and what not but I dont think I'd look into adding a fan. Like snop said, Get a after market radiator and a billet impellar and you'll be more then set in the cooling department.
  16. So how do you calculate rear wheel HP off the dyno your using? or are you just going by the number from the output shaft only?
  17. LOL mine is still just the bare frame.. I got a long day ahead of me once all my parts are here. But my 450 is done.. just gotta get a new battery for it or find a 95' yz250 kick start.
  18. yep. Stock and long rod is the same. Stroker is good for about 5-8hp. The real gains come from the portwork like booker said.
  19. Show me a link to a new Tyson racing swingarm for 225 new and I'll give you this arm for free. If you can't then STFU. no offense! Tyson's arms are 350 new. If you don't like the price.. then stay out of my thread.
  20. I got a +12 Tyson Round housing swingarm for a link setup. Only a year old and has maybe 10 hours on it. Bearings are still in great shape and its painted hammer tone silver. $225.00 shipped This is the only pic I got of it right now.
  21. I was gonna do a YZ490 swap at one time... Problem is that parts are gettin to hard to find these days..
  22. Black Label racing, Tyson Racing, HS customs and Wild West welding are a few others. I like GT's chassis's alot and they're reasonably priced compared to alot of the other builders out there.
  23. Every set of pro-lites that I've ever installed used 2 rings... the the blaster pistons used 2 rings also. I've used Vito's, Pro-X and WSM... all of them use 2 rings Not sure about that third ring... probably some type of oil ring. :shrug:
