  1. can you post a pic of the welds? Some people like to see the quality of the welds.
  2. Ok.. lets just make this easy... Post the fastest Time slip you can find for a quadzilla.... and then post the fastest time slip for a banshee... which one do you think will have the faster ET? I can post a time slip for a 350 banshee running 3.8's. 300' all motor. Time slips dont lie.. post'em up!
  3. :yelrotflmao: That has to be the best reply I've seen in years! Welcome to the HQ. Good luck with your sale.
  4. Long rod cranks are generally suggested for stroker cranks.. A stock stroke crank is perfectly fine with the short rods.
  5. Nope.. Didn't get any takers so it went to ebay.
  6. Just like congratulate Boo on his new arrival Saturday.. Baby Boy, Gavin Anthony
  7. Cant forget about quality control. But I do agree that higher price isn't always better. But I also wouldn't go cheap. I like the mid price range. lol I use a M2R Revaltion X2 for trails and a Shoei for the track. I've used Many O'neil helmets, Thor and a Bell
  8. It all comes down to having the right setup.. I've beatin 10mil cubs with my 421 also.. but.. I know that once they get them tuned in and setup properly it wont be the same story. If a properly setup 4mil will run with or beat a 10mil cub.. what will a properly setup 10mil cub do? I guess cubs in general are kinda a waste then because I race with some stock cylinder bikes that beat me and the 10mil cubs all the time. It dont mean my motor is junk.. Just that their BIKE is in a better state of tune. Its a complete package that makes the bike fast. Not just the motor. The 10mil cub has the mechanical advantage over the 4mil cubs.. Thats just one part of the puzzle.. now its putting the rest of it together and getting that power to the ground.. The more power you got.. the harder it is to get it to the ground. It was assumed that this guy only drag races when he was told to build a DM/Twister over the 10mil cub. He never stated what type of riding he does or intends on doing. Yeah.. I agree with "bigger is better" theory... but.. I also agree with their being a learning curve.. I've seen too many people jump right into the deep end and get in over their heads. They spend all that money on the big motor and didn't know how to tune it or set it up properly. Then either the bike blows up, or they start getting beat by the smaller bikes and they get discouraged and get out of the sport all together.
  9. 4mil supers make about 3-5 more hp over a 421 cub (depending on builder)... but the super cubs do require porting and actually make less power then the 421 cubs out of the box unless their ported. If I was upgrading from a 421 cub.. I'd go for the 10mil still. The super cub would be a good option if you were starting a build and needed a head and planned on having port work done anyways.
  10. 10mil cubs on average make about 10hp more then a 421cub.. That being said... a properly setup/tuned 10mil cub will always have the mechanical advantage over the 421 cub. Price to upgrade to a 10mil from a 4mil is around $1500 Price to upgrade to a DM from a 4mil cub is about $4-5k Buck for buck... you can't beat the 10mil cub.. on our tracks here its a 3.9 motor out of the box. I've yet to see a any 421 go 3.9's or even 4.0's out of the box.
  11. I gave him the hook up on the stickers!. And your right! JD (87sheerips) can cut them from Mirror stainless steel! looks like a mirror! Here is his myspace and you can see some of his work. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...iendid=41403304 If you can think of a design or picture.. he can put it on the grill.. I will guarantee you wont be disappointed. Here is mine that he did for my drag chssis.
  12. Why dont you send a PM to 87sheerips. He'll make anything you want for any type of plastic and VERY reasonable priced. Very cool dude!
  13. Yep.. LOTS of hard running 10mil cubs. its tried and proven.
  14. I think the stock reed cages work fine on the 10mil cub.. LOTS of strong running 10mil cubs... Do I think the reed cages are a limiting factor.. yes... but you also have to weigh the cost/power ratio.. To upgrade to a DM the price difference is HUGE compared to a cub... and Yes you get more power.. but you pay for it... buck for buck.. the 10mil cub is VERY hard to beat....
  15. I use the modquad kicker on my bike.. I like it. only paid like 35 for it off ebay..
  16. Hey man.. Dont knock it.. they run stock swingers on 10mil cubs down in miami..
  17. Gonna need a good set of pipes.. Hate to add a plug for my sale but.. I got a brand new set of shearer pipes that would work great on it if your interested.
  18. Tim is a con-artist.... he takes all of your money... then gives you some pretty nice parts in return.. lol Good guy, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to do business with him.
  19. all depends on the porting..
  20. I guess I'm not understanding what yoru talking about??? Everything is the same for me...
