  9. i despise myspace :: i've followed quite a few online ripoffs on other forums. lots of people get the offenders local PD involved. alot if not all have had excellent returns when doing so!!

  11. yep, for an off road vehicle, thats going to see rocks and sand and stuff that will chip/scratch/knick metal parts...then powder coating is the most durable of your choices. or you could have it rhinolined. the stuff they use in truck bed liners if you want ultimate protection but if paint is the only way to go. auto paint would be the best bet

  13. like i said, there used to be a video on Ferrari's website of an F1 car doing the 1/4 in 7sec @ ~190mph. wish i would have saved it. there is a huge difference in gearing between Indy and F1 cars. if there wasnt, Indy wouldnt do 230mph and F1 couldnt accelerate out of the turns like they do riding/slipping the clutch on those cars isnt much of an option. Car and Driver did a test with Dale Earnhardt jrs. cup car that was setup for the road courses they race on. they had a tough time getting that car into the 12's before they smoked the clutch trying to slip it for better launches.
  14. on Ferrari's website, there used to be a video of Michael Schumachers F1 car. (not quite indy, damn near identical) anyway, the video was a 1/4mile pass. dundunduuuuun 7.xxsec @ 190+mph Indy cars dont get up to speed like F1 cars do. they are more of a top end car made for ovals. F1 cars have 7 gears and accelerate like a motherfucker through all of them. they dont quite achieve Indy car like top speeds tho (230mph vs. ~200mph) my guess on an Indy car would be a 1/4 time of about mid 9's @ ~150mph, all of the time made up on the top end of the track
  15. thats what i figured. i was just looking thru Edelbrocks catalog and came across the flat slide pumpers for 4-strokes. was curious why they dont offer them for the most popular 2 stroke quad of all time. was just thinking of trying one on a single carb setup after porting. sorry this turned into a mod topic, wrong place now i know

  19. sweet so we're going to badlands you better call me when the time comes too remember Adam i outweigh you by atleast 70lbs (skinny lil shit) and had a clogged pilot jet when we raced...focker how you know if you need a more or less fuel, you perform plug chops after each change until you get a nice even brown color on the electrode. theres a how to somewhere on this site for plug chops and the desired color you want for an as close to optimum stoich mixture. you chop the plug after a WOT run. go WOT atleast thru 5th gear and immediately shutoff (pull clutch, turn key off) and coast to a stop. i can show you how to do it. also search on here you should be able to turn up pictures of what a plug should look like when the motor is tuned correctly who knows how to contact Eric Gorr? Eazy needs a good port job while he has it apart :

  22. i would buy my banshee get the TORS elim kit, repaint or have the T5's chromed or ceramic coated, put a Noss cool head on it with 21cc domes, an adjustable timing plate at about +4*, some paddle tires for St.Joes and enjoy the rest of the cash for the rest of the summer. then next summer, have the cylinders ported by Eric Gorr and get a +4 swinger and rip but i'm biased of course :baseball_mitt:
  23. tire chocks insure the car only takes out the upper half of the wall lol that turbo is only a 95mm too. the least they could have done was make it a front mount turbo i mean damn LOL
