vehicle chassis dynos usually cost somewhere around $50-75 for 3 pulls incl. wideband are the dynos in off road shops different? EDIT; go for it if the price isnt outrageous

wrap the tabs with duct tape and cut the excess off (all except what contacts the frame) so it isnt visible you can also get foam tape from a hardware store, its used to seal doorways in houses during the winter

i'd take one. you gonna throw in sections other then just rebuilding, like carb tuning/adjustment/sync/jetting and rebuilding etc.?

go to a paint shop and look for stuff called shark grit or shark bite (cant remember) but its an additive you throw in with whatever you use to coat the floor. it gives a permanent gritty texture for safety etc. ever seen fire escape stairwells in hotels and such that are all painted concrete uncarpeted, thats the stuff they put in the paint on them. stuff works awesome!

Ford SD's are the way too go! no other pickup trucks compare in price, durability, options, power. forget Deisel tho, unless you buy the older 7.3L turbo, the new 6.0L's are problem plagued. another thing is they are heavy as a mofo and on a new truck (Ford) it is a $5300 option. and deisel costs more (round here it is normally $0.30 higher per gallon then gas) and that adds up quick when filling a 36 gallon tank! the V-10 in the SD's is only a ~$650 option and has ~345hp and ~460lb-ft of tq. you can get a 6 speed to help with mpg's they are very stout as well.

i went to the dealershp today. they had a Specal Edition yfz450 that had the yellow plastics. i think its those colors for Yamahas 50th anniversary. the LE is all black. i didnt know if they made an all black shee in '03. mine has black plastics, thats why i asked what the difference was. i thought it was only '06 since its the last year....like a funeral, you wear black
